With Halloween just around the corner, many gamers are looking to their favorite titles to bring the spooky season to life. Overwatch 2 recently released Season 19, which is filled with plenty of Halloween-themed content. In addition to introducing a fresh battle pass stuffed with new hero costumes and other cosmetics, Blizzard has launched the Haunted Masquerade game mode. In it, players wear the mask of another hero, giving them access to buffs and perks that put a new twist on the shooter's familiar gameplay.
PS Plus Subscribers Can Claim Overwatch 2’s Slasher: 76 Skin for Free
Fans of Overwatch 2's Soldier: 76 may be pleased to learn that Blizzard has released an exclusive bundle for PS Plus subscribers to claim at no additional cost. The bundle includes the Slasher: 76 legendary skin and five battle pass tier skips. The cosmetic shows the hero sporting an orange and black leather jacket and a hockey mask. It's an obvious nod to Friday the 13th's Jason Voorhees, and the bundle has released just in time for Halloween. It's worth noting that Overwatch 2's PS Plus bundle only includes the Slasher: 76 skin itself, which has disappointed some fans who were hoping to acquire the other cosmetics associated with the skin. The listing in the PlayStation Store revealed that the bundle will be available at no cost through January 17, 2026. So, players have quite a while to take advantage of this exclusive deal.
Gamers looking to get their hands on even more free cosmetics may want to head over to Twitch, as Overwatch 2 recently enabled new drops that will be available through November 9. Players who take advantage of these Twitch rewards will be able to earn the Fenrir Unchained Reaper spray, the Nightshade Sombra name card, a loot box, and an epic loot box. In order to receive these rewards, gamers simply need to link their game account to Twitch and tune in to watch any streamers in the Overwatch 2 category.
It was also recently revealed that Overwatch 2's collaboration with One Punch Man has returned to the game. In addition to bringing back all the existing crossover skins, Blizzard has released the new Garou Wuyang and Hellish Blizzard Ashe costumes. Both the new and old One Punch Man cosmetics will be available through October 29, so players interested in them may want to act fast. With so much content to enjoy and even more on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Overwatch 2.
