Overwatch 2 Reveals Season 18 Mythic Skin for Sojourn

Overwatch 2 just revealed Ultraviolet Sentinel Sojourn, the new Mythic skin for Season 18 that transforms the damage hero into a futuristic superhero. This incredible cosmetic will be added to the Mythic store once Overwatch 2 Season 18 begins on August 26.

Mythic skins are customizable cosmetics in Overwatch 2 that can be purchased with Mythic Prisms, which can be purchased or earned from the premium Battle Pass. Each season introduces a new Mythic skin for a different hero, with Season 17’s Horang D.Va being the most recent example.

Now, Overwatch 2 has revealed the new Mythic coming in Season 18 a few weeks ahead of the major update. Ultraviolet Sentinel Sojourn is an even more futuristic rendition of the cybernetic soldier from “a fallen future without heroes,” in which she uses “cutting edge cyber-light tech” to become the Ultraviolet Sentinel – “a shining figure that inspired others to join the fight.” Featuring bright neon lights, sleek armor, and unique visual and sound effects, this Mythic skin is one that Sojourn fans won’t want to miss.

Overwatch 2 Season 18 Mythic Ultraviolet Sentinel Sojourn

Like most Mythic skins, Ultraviolet Sentinel Sojourn has many customization options spread across four unlockable tiers. Four different armor sets with increasing complexity and details are available, as is the ability to add extra cyber-light flair when fully unlocked. The skin also has three different hairstyles, plus three color combinations: the default white, pink, and blue, a warm pink, gray, and maroon, and pink, and a sleek black and red. Fans looking for even more options can also pick up her Gilded or Iridescent Mythic Aspect in Overwatch 2 as well. Blizzard shared a behind-the-scenes livestream showing the skin off in action, and going behind the scenes in its creation.

Once Season 18 begins on August 26, players can purchase Ultraviolet Sentinel Sojourn for 50 Mythic Prisms in Overwatch 2's Mythic Shop, and then upgrade it through three additional tiers for 10 Mythic Prisms each. This makes the full skin 80 Mythic Prisms, with the optional Gilded Aspects costing 20 each after all tiers have been unlocked.

While this Mythic skin is one of the big centerpieces of Season 18, there is still more to look forward to in the next update as well. Wuyang, the aquatic new support hero, is set to arrive in the next update – but his Overwatch 2 trial weekend is coming up on August 14. Players can expect to see the official reveal of his abilities soon.
