Overwatch 2’s porcine tank, Roadhog, has finally had a taste of his own medicine. Feared since his first appearance in 2016, Roadhog has been the bane of many a player due to his Chain Hook attack, which pulls his enemy in close to him. Often used by Overwatch 2 players as a way to drag their opponent over a bottomless gap to their demise.

Since the release of Overwatch 2, there have been several changes to the game and its heroes. One such example is the big change to Roadhog and Zenyatta. While Roadhog has always been a fearsome tank, his Whole Hog Ultimate ability had made him somewhat vulnerable until the change to make the attack a Transform Ultimate. This means that Roadhog is able to use other abilities after having activated Whole Hog. Roadhog is able to heal himself and doesn’t lose his Ultimate when stunned, making him quite formidable. On the other side of the scale, Zenyatta has 650 fewer health points, meaning that staying distant from enemies is key to playing as the Support hero, even when at full shields. Luckily, in the same update that gave Roadhog more power, Zenyatta also received a great boon: the Snap Kick.

In the clip uploaded to Reddit by a user named rifleman_, Zenyatta’s powerful Snap Kick is used to kick an unconscious Roadhog off the map. Titled “Dedicated to everyone who got hooked into the water on Rialto,” the clip shows perfect comic timing and a sense of catharsis as Zenyatta gets revenge. The Snap Kick is a passive ability that replaces Zenyatta’s melee attack for a strong kick that sends the enemy flying away. It is proving to be quite powerful, as shown in a brutal Zenyatta strategy on MEKA Base.

Reddit users commented on the video to discuss the best tips for playing as Zenyatta, and although Zenyatta's Snap Kick is truly powerful, some commenters stated that they never use the ability, showing the hero to be quite diverse. Others claimed that a safer bet is playing as Ana, despite her more difficult play style.

While some cosmetic Zenyatta changes have left Overwatch 2 fans unhappy, the Snap Kick has made the hero into a much more viscous character, pleasing fans. The ever-changing nature of Overwatch 2 means that there is a chance for each hero to have a time to shine as the most powerful choice. Considering his fast attack speed, his powerful Transcendence Ultimate healing 300 health per second, and now his powerful kick, Zenyatta may currently be the most powerful.

Overwatch 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
