An Overwatch 2 player has pulled off a ridiculous Junker Queen play against Roadhog on the Ilios map. Overwatch 2 has dozens of maps that rotate as players move from one match to another, but Ilios may be the most infamous for impressive plays.

When Overwatch 2 was released, it featured some of the original game's maps, in addition to some fresh locations. Among the new maps were Midtown, Circuit Royal, and Colosseo. While some original Overwatch maps weren't available in the sequel, Blizzard continues to release revamped versions of them in Overwatch 2 content updates. Ilios is a map carried forward to the sequel without many changes, maintaining multiple locations where players could be sent falling to their deaths off the sides of the map. One gamer has shared an impressive clip in which they use one of these spots to their advantage when facing off against an enemy Roadhog.

Reddit user Korvettekapitan recently shared a clip of their Overwatch 2 Junker Queen gameplay. The video begins with Junker Queen leaving her spawn in the Well portion of the Ilios map. After turning around to ensure their teammates are following them, they swiftly walk down the middle lane. Once they reach the central area with the titular well, Junker Queen looks through a mesh fence to observe the enemy team's movements. Junker Queen then peaks around the side to take one shot at the enemies with the Jagged Blade. The gamer connects with a Roadhog before ducking behind the wall again, causing the Overwatch 2 Tank to fall into the well to their death.

This Junker Queen Play Could Be the Perfect Roadhog Counter

Roadhog has long been a threat on the Ilios map due to parts of the map that he could send players flying off by using the Chain Hook. Other characters that have been known to do the same thing to enemies include D.Va, Reinhardt, and Lucio. Junker Queen was introduced in Overwatch 2 Season 1, and her Jagged Blade ability is similar to Roadhog's Chain Hook in that it drags enemies closer to them. This is why Korvettekapitan was able to cause the enemy Roadhog to fall into the well when combining the ability with quick movement. Because of this ability, gamers may want to avoid Junker Queen in this central part of Ilios during future matches.

As Blizzard continues to add new characters to Overwatch 2, more heroes may feature attacks like Roadhog's Chain Hook or Lucio's Sonic Amplifier. Given that Roadhog is notorious on Ilios for sending players down the well, this Junker Queen play may feel like revenge to parts of the community.
