Outer Worlds 2 Science Adventures Quarterly Locations Magazine Start Mission Redactor

There are two ways to start the 'In Pursuit of Purloined Propaganda' quest in Outer Worlds 2: find Redactor Quesnel, or find your first Science Adventures Quarterly magazine.

Redactor Quesnel is a member of the Protectorate and the quest giver for this mission, and can be found to the west of Fairfield in a shack. Talk to her to start the quest without finding any magazines first.
The first time you find a Science magazine in Outer Worlds 2, you will automatically pick up the In Pursuit Of Purloined Propaganda quest. Open your region map of Paradise to find Redactor's Quesnel's location.

Science Adventures Quarterly Volume 1 Location

Location Details: Inside an abandoned house on the west side of the flooded residential section of Westport.
Other Notes: Deal with the Raptodons in the area before you try to get this magazine as you will attract a lot of attention if you stroll through the streets. Fast Travel to the Westport travel point, then hug the road leading north, and you'll see this building first on the left.

Science Adventures Quarterly Volume 2 Location

Location Details: Found inside the crazed fisherman's house on the far south of the southern island of Paradise.
Other Location Notes: Repower the area by heading up the hill to the north to a power station, then return to access the dock house.

Science Adventures Quarterly Volume 3 Location

Location Details: On a table outside a building on the docks just north of the Ministry of Accuracy on the far west coast of the southern island of Paradise
Other Notes: Look carefully to the left of the steps leading into the building - you may run right by this table without even realizing.

Science Adventures Quarterly Volume 4 Location

Location Details: On a table in the dock on the southeastern shore of the northern island of Paradise.
Other Notes: There are two ways to get here: either go to the Vox Relay via the bridge and enter the area just to its south, then take the elevator down, or jump across the rocks that span the bay at the northwest of the southern island.

Science Adventures Quarterly Volume 5 Location

Location Details: In a hut to the west of the Bridge of the Reverent (the Protectorate bridge between the northern and southern islands).
Other Location Notes: Head north from Fairfield, then turn west as you follow the road to reach this location. You can also go directly east from the Ministry of Accuracy, if discovered.

Science Adventures Quarterly Volume 6 Location

Location Details: Found on a bed in the fishing hut directly across the bay from the landing pad on Paradise Island.
Other Location Notes: Fast travel to either Fairfield or the Landing Pad and hug the shoreline to get to this magazine location.

Science Adventures Quarterly Volume 7 Location

Location Details: On a table inside one of the buildings on a farm found in the central part of the northern island.
Other Notes: Be careful approaching this location as you may get swarmed by enemies in the area. You can get here either by going northeast from the Skycutter station, or northwest from the Protectorate Bridge.

Science Adventures Quarterly Volume 8 Location

Location Details: Inside a building in the Crabbing Tower, on the far western shore of the southern island of Paradise.
Other Location Notes: Climb the ladder on the east side of the Crabbing Tower to reach the top control room, where the magazine can be found.

Science Adventures Quarterly Volume 9 Location

Location Details: Found in a house directly west of the Crabble Spawning Grounds, up the hill to the south of the Sovereign's Sweet Spire Grove (now under control of Auntie's Choice).
Other Location Notes: Don't try to get here via the Crabble grounds, as there is no connecting path. Instead, travel to Fairfield, travel west until you reach the Sovereign's Sweet Spire Grove, then turn south and go up the hill.

Science Adventures Quarterly Volume 10 Location

Location Details: On an outdoor table at the docks on the northwest side of the northern island on Paradise.
Other Notes: Head northwest from the Skycutter power station on the far western coast of Paradise Island. You can also get here by fast traveling to the Drop Pod Landing Zone then going directly north.

For completing 'In Pursuit of Purloined Propaganda' and collecting every Science Magazine, Outer Worlds 2 players will earn the 'SA Quarterlies Quantified' achievement. On PlayStation, this is tagged as a Bronze Trophy.

When you return halfway through the mission to deliver the first 5 Science Magazines, Quesnel will reward you with two Pitchball cards and a chunk of Bits.
