Did Oshi no Ko Deserve Another Ending?

As previously stated, bringing a story to its conclusion is always tricky. In 2024, My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen reached their end. However, neither set of fans enjoyed the conclusion. They felt that Hirokoshi Kohei and Gege Akutami could write a better ending. While fans are entitled to their opinion, it is important to remember that every mangaka has their own idea of bringing the story to a close. Most of the time, the audience does not agree with how things end.

Oshi no Ko falls in the same bracket. But Aka Akasaka is happy, as he believes things went as he wanted. Even if the ending could have been handled better, Oshi no Ko fans can solace in the fact that the author is elated with the conclusion. Fans who want to read more manga by Aka Akasaka should look forward to 2025, as the author will be releasing his new work.
