Similar to other cutesy life-sim games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons or Bear and Breakfast, Ooblets players can customize their home with all sorts of furniture items to fit their style. However, players rushing to decorate their house may be disappointed to find out they must first repair the farmhouse by collecting some materials.
Repairing the Farmhouse in Ooblets
To fix up the farmhouse so that players can finally decorate it, they will need to collect three types of items:
- 12 Planklets
- 8 Nurnies
- 5 Clothlets
How to Get Nurnies
Nurnies will be one of the easiest materials for Ooblets players to find, as they can be obtained near players' homes. Go to the plot of land in front of the old shack where players have already started to grow some Ooblets and crops. There should be plenty of rocks and logs just lying about.
To find Nurnies, go into Farming Mode and use some Energy to break the rocks. If players are low on Energy, they should go to the menu and consume food. Getting the required amount of Nurnies should take no time at all.
How to Get Planklets
Planklets can be obtained similarly to the Nurnies. Players just need to head to their farming area and use Energy to snap the logs and branches.
Each broken one will reward players with some Planklets. It'll also give players more space to grow Ooblets and other things.
How to Find Clothlets
Clothlets might give players the most trouble, as it seems these items are randomly placed around Badgetown. The locations of the Clothlets in our playthrough might be different from other players, but we'll go ahead and list some areas where we found them:
- To the right of Town Hall, behind Arven
- Next to the Wishy Well in front of Town Hall
- To the left of the deflated hot air balloon
- In front of the Dance Barn near Frunbuns Clubhouse
- Near the Badgetown Oobnet Tower
If players have trouble finding Clothlets in their town, they can try to sleep later in the night to start the next day. The Clothlets should respawn in new areas, so keep walking around. Also, players can head inside Meed's seed shop and purchase Clothplant Seeds. Each one will take three days to grow and costs 32 Gummies. Use some fertilizer to speed up the process.
Once all the materials are found, players can return to the Deposit box in front of the farmhouse and drop everything off. The home will now be repaired, and players can start decorating once they get some furniture.
Ooblets is available on PC, Switch, and Xbox One.
