Zoro is one of the strongest characters in One Piece and certainly a force to be reckoned with on the high seas. Although the beginning to Zoro's journey as a swordsman was quite humble, he has made quite a name for himself since, going from becoming a famous bounty hunter across the East Blue, to a pirate himself. Zoro is considered to be one of the most ferocious Pirates across the New World right now, and much of that is down to the latest powers that he has acquired.
In Wano, Zoro gained access to the King of Hell Three Sword Style, thanks to Enma, which allows Zoro to channel his Conquerors’ Haki at maximum output. So far, Zoro has only used this power on limited occasions, but he has already amassed some incredible feats worthy of respect.
4 Launching A Flying Onigiri
Zoro Can Launch Strong Attacks From A Distance
- Move Type: Ranged
- Haki: Conqueror's, Armament
Onigiri is one of Zoro's most renowned attacks in One Piece. In fact, Zoro's signature attack can be considered to be Onigiri and it is one of the very first ones that he has used. It is also one of the attacks that he has stuck with over the years, improving upon it gradually. For instance, after the timeskip, fans got to see Zoro utilize a technique named Rengoku Onigiri, which was essentially a stronger version of the same technique.
He even utilized this power with Haki coated blades, and, when using the King of Hell, Zoro upgraded upon this technique even further. At maximum power, which is when Zoro utilizes King of Hell, Zoro can actually utilize Onigiri from a distance. This was seen during his fight against King, where he utilized Purgatory Onigiri from quite a distance away. Thankfully, King was able to avoid this attack, but it was devastatingly lethal, and could essentially have serious damage to him if it did land. Undoubtedly, this is one of those strongest attacks and being able to now launch it from a distance is a massive feat of strength and Haki control.
3 Maintaining King Of Hell For A Significant Period Of Time
Zoro Could Sustain The Haki Drain Of Enma
- Move Type: N/A
- Haki: Conqueror's, Armament
The King of Hell Three Sword Style is a very powerful technique, but it does come with its downsides. Its powers are amazing, but at the same time, it places significant stress on Zoro's body. Zoro has himself claimed that he can only utilize this technique for a few minutes before it actually takes his life. This makes this technique very risky, and in many ways, a double-edged sword.
One Piece: Strongest Fire-Based Devil Fruits, Ranked
Wielding fire is a common fictional trope, and is also seen in One Piece's many Devil Fruits. Here are the strongest fire-based Devil Fruits so far.
The fact is that Zoro can still utilize this power for long and that in itself is a feat of strength and endurance. Just wielding Enma normally for any samurai is a death sentence. In fact, in One Piece Chapter 954, Kinemon suggested to wield Enma. It was seen that the blade placed immediate stress on Zoro, even when it was only taking Armament Haki. However, the fact that Zoro is able to push his Haki unregulated into Enma and still fight for extended periods of time just goes to show how tremendous his Haki pool is, and how amazing his control over this power is. Undoubtedly, this is one of his biggest feats so far.
2 Cutting King's Flames And Defeating Him
Zoro Cut Magma-Like Flames And Beat King
- Move Type: Ranged
- Haki: Conqueror's, Armament
Zoro is no stranger to combining multiple techniques and delivering a successful end to dangerous battles. That is precisely what he did against King in a terrific showing of strength and skill. In the Wano Country Arc, fans found out that Zoro had already copied the kitsunebi-ryu from Kinemon. This ability allows Zoro to cut fire. He inherently combines its abilities with King of Hell. This essentially means that all of Zoro's strikes are powerful enough to cut fire and magma itself. Zoro's strongest attack, Dragon Damnation, saw him combine this ability with his incredible swordplay skills, slice across King's extra-large dragon, and then deliver a ranged slash to him, completely defeating him in combat.
Zoro also managed to clip one of his wings with this technique, and this just goes to show that he has come a long way. His slashes are so powerful that he can essentially deal deadly damage to the right-hand man of a Yonko, and that puts him on a very high pedestal among the swordsmen of the One Piece world.
1 Dealing Deadly Damage to Lucci Without Going All Out
Zoro Beat Lucci Effectively
- Move Type: Short Range
- Haki: Conqueror's, Armament
Zoro also tapped into the King of Hell in the battle against Lucci on Egghead Island. Although it isn't as clear due to the vast majority of this fight being off-screen, fans know for a fact that Zoro tapped into this ability due to the presence of the Haki sparks and the green smoke-like aura around his swords.
Zoro was pushed to quite an extreme by Lucci, but, at the end, he didn't go all out against him. After a very long battle that seemingly exhausted both of these fighters, Zoro delivered a powerful Leopard Hunt to Lucci, slicing him across the chest. Credit to Lucci, he did not admit defeat, wanting to fight more. However, the fight was interrupted due to the sudden emergence of one of the Five Elders, Mars. Still, regardless of Lucci’s terrific endurance, fans can admit that this was a massive feat of strength and skill by Zoro.
