The world of One Piece is currently witnessing a time period known as the Great Pirate Era, which was ushered in by the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. After his death, the seas all over the world saw an influx of pirates all gunning for the treasure that the Pirate King left behind. Both men and women vehemently set out to sea in search of the greatest treasure of all.

In the Final Saga of One Piece, there is no shortage of powerful female characters who sail the seas. Among all the pirates, the strongest are officially known as the Yonko. In the world of One Piece, there are quite a lot of powerful Yonko-level female characters that Oda has established over the years, with more certainly set to come in the Final Saga.

3 Big Mom Was An Emperor Of The Sea in One Piece

Big Mom charlotte linlin Yonko Level Female Characters one piece

Out of all the female characters in One Piece, the only one to officially carry the title of a Yonko is none other than Charlotte Linlin, also known as Big Mom. Charlotte Linlin was born as a calamity, so much so that her parents abandoned her on Elbaf, hoping that Mother Carmel would somehow fix her up. Linlin's monstrous strength was quite clear from the beginning, and she even managed to take down the strongest warriors of the Giants just at the age of five, when she was in an enraged state following her hunger pangs. As Linlin grew, she gained even more strength and even ate a Devil Fruit known as the Soru Soru no Mi. By the time she came to be known as Big Mom and joined the Rocks Pirates, she was so strong that just her presence put immense fear in the vast majority of the seas. Linlin also became a Haki expert, easily controlling all three types. Following the Rocks Pirates' dissolution 38 years ago, she established her dominance over the seas and became known as one of the Four Emperors of the Sea.

Linlin sat on top of this throne for quite a long time and was eventually dethroned by the new generation in the Wano Country arc. It must be noted, however, that Big Mom was not fairly beaten in a battle by Law and Kid; instead, she was pushed off Onigashima and had bombs dropped on her that could level a whole country. In terms of overall power, Linlin was still superior to both Law and Kid, and an equal to Kaido.

2 Boa Hancock Is The Strongest Yonko Level Female Character In The Final Saga

Boa Hancock Yonko Level Female Characters Piece

With the fall of Big Mom, the strongest character currently in the world of One Piece is none other than Boa Hancock. While often underrated, Hancock is easily one of the strongest characters in the entire series, and much of that is down to her Devil Fruit. Hancock has the power of the Paramecia-type Mero Mero no Mi, which allows her to enchant just about anyone with her beauty. Anyone who is even remotely attracted to her or enamored by her beauty in any way is immediately petrified by her powers. However, the power of petrification doesn't necessarily apply to attraction. Even inanimate things can be petrified by Boa Hancock, which means no one is truly safe from her abilities.

What's more, even Blackbeard, who is an official Yonko, had to sneak up on Boa Hancock. He openly implied that had he approached her head-on, he would have lost a battle against her, which goes to show how truly terrifying she is. On top of all that, Boa Hancock is a master of Haki of all three types. It must be remembered that the Kuja are inherently powerful Haki manipulators for some reason. Boa Hancock stands at the top of the tree and possesses powerful Conqueror's Haki. While her true control over this Haki remains to be seen, Hancock combines this power in a brilliant manner with her Devil Fruit abilities, and that is what makes her a Yonko-level threat in the One Piece world.

1 Yamato Stands Tall As A Top Tier

Yonko Level Female Characters One Piece

The guardian deity of Wano, Yamato is an incredibly powerful character who has stepped into the shoes of Kozuki Oden and watches over the land of Samurai. Yamato, being born to Kaido alone, makes them tremendously powerful.

  • In fact, Yamato awakened the power of their Conqueror's Haki at the age of 8, which made them one of the strongest kids in the series. Later on, they went on to consume the legendary Devil Fruit of the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami, which gave them the power to transform into a mythical wolf. Yamato also has the blood of the Ancient Giants flowing through their veins, as signified by their horns.

More than that, Yamato has incredible control over all types of Haki. In the Wano Country Arc, Yamato clearly showed advanced manipulation of Conqueror's Haki, being able to coat their body in it, and even infusing the Kanabo, Takeru, with it. Yamato was able to hold off Kaido in battle incredibly well and even deliver some wounds to the Yonko. While Yamato certainly still has a lot of potential, they are easily a Yonko-level individual in One Piece.
