Being widely considered the first pirate, and the original user of the Human-Human Fruit Model: Sun God Nika, Joy Boy, as many have guessed, is an incredibly lighthearted figure, similar to the protagonist of the series, Monkey D. Luffy. After seeing the treasure for the first time, Roger and his entire crew can’t help but laugh, leading them to name the island Laugh Tale.
