Being the protagonists of the series, the Straw Hats of One Piece, through both kindness and power, have built up a large variety of allies over the years. Including things like the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, many of the Warlords, most of the Worst Generation, and much more, it seems like Luffy and his crew have some sort of special ability to inspire people to work on his side. It follows what Koby told Drake before the events of Wano, Luffy has a strange charisma that pulls others towards him, leading to him making endless number of unlikely allies.
One such friend that the Straw Hat crew made over the years is none other than Zeus, a homie who was originally one of Big Mom’s primary allies. Although the character was used mainly to give Nami a massive power-up, the living cloud may house more secrets than fans originally anticipated. Namely, Zeus may have been present during the God Valley Incident in One Piece and could reveal more details of the event to the Straw Hats if they asked him the right questions.

During the Whole Cake Island Arc, the audience is introduced to Big Mom and her Soul-Soul Fruit, a Devil Fruit that gave her the ability to steal the life force from people and transfer it into inanimate objects in order to bring them to life. Called Homies, these creatures act as a large portion of Big Mom’s forces, including her three main Homies: Napoleon, a living hat and sword, Zeus, a living thunderstorm, and Prometheus, a living fire, which acts as her primary weaponry. However, during the Whole Cake Island Arc, Zeus develops a taste for the weather balls produced by Nani’s Clima Tact and decides to join her side.

After nearly dying on Wano, Zeus has become a permanent addition to Nami’s Clima Tact, and an invaluable ally for One Piece's Straw Hat crew overall. It’s interesting to note that, in the beginning, Zeus has actually been an ally of Big Mom for an incredibly long time, being made by the future Emperor as a child. This would mean that Zeus had witnessed many of the same events that Big Mom witnessed as a member of the Rocks Pirates.

Additionally, Zeus would have had a first-hand account of the battle between Xebec, Roger, and Garp, potentially revealing more information on how this infamous battle played out.

Additionally, Zeus also most likely has a lot of information on the specifics of the Rocks Pirates in general, including which pirates were a part of the crew. Plus, with Xebec being one of the most mysterious characters in the series, Zeus most likely knows his personality and major goals in the series from his time on the Rocks Pirate crew with Big Mom. From here, asking Zeus for more information would be an easy way for the Straw Hats to learn some information that has been hidden from the One Piece community for years.

However, as many fans already know, Zeus isn’t the smartest character in the entire series. It seems equally as likely that Zeus may have simply forgotten about his past adventures, and along with them, his memories of God Valley and the Rocks Pirates. Although this seems convenient, it may be Oda’s strategy to tie up this loose end, preventing the reveal of the Xebec from being too anticlimactic.

In the end, Zeus may be an important connection between the Straw Hats and the Rocks Pirates, bridging the gap between generations. Although it’s unlikely that Oda would like to reveal the information regarding Xebec this way, Zeus could always be a potential source of information on the older generation of pirates. From Xebec to Whitebeard, Zeus may have more information than One Piece fans initially expected.
