August was a tough month for One Piece fans as Eiichiro Oda, the creator of the series, went on quite a few breaks, which pushed back quite a few manga chapters. Although slightly better, September still comes with its fair share of breaks, as One Piece already has one confirmed break coming up very soon. One Piece chapter 1160 will drop on September 14, 2025, but fans will have to say goodbye to the series for two weeks after that.

So far in September, there have been no One Piece breaks, but One Piece chapter 1160 will be followed by a break. One Piece 1161 was supposed to drop on August 21, 2025. This isn’t the case anymore.

One Piece Chapter 1161 Has A New Release Date

• Release Date is September 28

With One Piece 1161 being delayed, fans are wondering when they can expect this new and exciting chapter instead. As usual, unless stated otherwise, Oda takes a one-week break. This means One Piece chapter 1161 will drop two weeks after chapter 1160, on September 28, 2025. This will make it the last chapter of September, with the following chapter hopefully coming out in the first week of October.

One Piece Chapter 1159 will be out this week. As usual, One Piece is going to drop on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops at 12 AM JST on Monday. However, the vast majority of international readers will see the chapter available on August 31. The official release date of One Piece Chapter 1159 is September 7, 2025.
