One Piece chapter 1105 proved to be a rather average chapter when it comes to the content that it covered, and the fact that it was a rather short chapter also did not help. While it wasn't the flashy chapters that fans expected it to be, it still covered quite a lot of exciting information. It was more of a transitional chapter and set the stage for bigger events to come which will be tackled in the upcoming chapter of the series.
That said, One Piece chapter 1105 wasn't without its big moments and certainly one of the most interesting things came towards the end of the chapter, which saw a secret pirate crew attack a marine vessel and head towards Egghead Island. Of course, fans are wondering as to who this secret pirate crew could be, and the possibilities are endless.
Possibility 1: The Blackbeard Pirates
The very first possibility pertaining to this pirate crew is that it is a group of the Blackbeard Pirates. Fans already knew that the Blackbeard Pirates are going to be present on Egghead Island. Based on what fans have seen in the Final Saga, it is clear that the Blackbeard Pirates have split into three groups. The first group is the one that is currently guarding the Pirate Island. There, fans saw Kuzan and Shiryu in charge, along with other Avalo Pizarro, Vasco Shot, and Sanjuan Wolf present as well. The second group is led by Blackbeard himself. Blackbeard was waiting for one of the members of the Worst Generation who left Wano, so that he could steal theirs and take a step closer to gaining the One Piece. Along with Blackbeard were the likes of Doc Q, Jesus Burgess, and Van Augur.
The third group of the Blackbeard Pirates includes the likes of Catarina Devon and Lafitte. These two characters have not been seen anywhere and the final saga so far. Furthermore, in the Egghead Island Arc, a Blackbeard pirate ship was seen approaching the island long ago. Fans did not get any updates from this particular plot point, and it could entirely be brought up now once again. It is clear for the fans to see that One Piece chapter 1105 saw a particular pirate crew attack a Marine vessel. This Marine vessel was going after the scientists who were evacuating from Egghead Island. It appears that a group of pirates attacked the Marines who were aiming at the ship of the scientists.
It wasn't revealed as to who this attacker was. All that was mentioned was that this group was headed towards Egghead Island itself. The Marines contacted Admiral Kizaru and tried to deliver this massive message to him, as it appeared to be important.
Possibility 2: The Straw Hat Grand Fleet
The second possibility as to who this crew could be is members of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. Fans know that the Straw Hat Grand Fleet will come into play at some point in the future. In fact, when the Straw Hat Grand Fleet was created, Oda even mentioned that they will continue to build their strength individually for a short period of time and then, later down the line, be involved in a major incident that would shake the entire world down to its very foundation. This ties in very well with the Egghead Incident, which Oda has already mentioned will shake the entire world. If Oda was speaking about the same incident, then the group that is currently headed towards Egghead Island could very well be the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. This would also explain why they protected the scientists who were evacuating from the island. The Straw Hat Grand Fleet would have it in them to save innocent individuals. The Blackbeard Pirates, on the other hand, would likely not do such a thing.
One Piece: Blackbeard's Goal On Egghead, Explained

This would also be a great opportunity for the members of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet to showcase what they are capable of. Fans know already that these powerful individuals can take on the nine Vice Admirals that are currently present on the island. In fact, the numbers even match up somewhat.
There are nine Vice Admirals on the Fabriophase; the Straw Hat Pirates certainly cannot take them on, given that most of them are in the Labophase. As such, to break the siege, an external force would be required and this could come in the form of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, who would then have to defeat the Vice Admirals and help the Straw Hat Pirates out.
Why The Blackbeard Pirates Could Be On Egghead Island
There's also another possibility that many fans think could come true and that is Dragon and the members of the Revolutionary Army headed to Egghead Island. While this is quite an exciting idea, it is one that absolutely cannot be true. This is simply down to the fact that fans recently saw Dragon himself on Kamabakka Kingdom, and that particular island is known to be in the Paradise half of the Grand Line. There is absolutely no way that Dragon and his group could make it to egghead in the New World within a matter of a few minutes. As such, this possibility is not viable at all.
When taking into consideration the other two possibilities, the most likely group that the Marines were speaking of towards the end of the chapter is that of the Blackbeard Pirates. This is down to the fact that fans already know that the Blackbeard Pirates were in the vicinity of Egghead Island. As such, it would make sense why they attacked the Marines. And most importantly, there is little chance that all members of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet made it to Egghead on time. The Straw Hat Grand Fleet would most certainly come to Egghead using Luffy's vivre Card.
There is absolutely no reason for them to come, given that the Vivre Card is likely not going to be burned. The Vivre Card itself is a plot device that Oda uses to tell the holder that the user is in danger. That is how Luffy traced Ace down. Given that Luffy is no real danger, the Straw Hat Grand Fleet will likely not be present on Egghead. It is also impossible for the Straw Hat Grand Fleet to make it to Egghead on such short notice. The presence of Luffy on Egghead was announced very recently. It hasn't been more than a day since it was revealed to the world that Luffy is currently on this island. The journey from different parts of the World to Egghead would take weeks for the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. There clearly hasn't been enough time, and, as such, it is utterly impossible for all of them to be present on this island and aid the Straw Hat Pirate Crew.
The only possibility that remains is that the Blackbeard Pirates are currently on Egghead. The question as to why they are present on the island is likely to do with something beneficial for them. It is possible that they want to steal something from Vegapunk. This could be anything along the lines of more power, such as the Seraphim, or, kidnapping Vegapunk himself, as that would give them access to someone who has knowledge about the Void Century and the art of studying the Poneglyphs as well.
