The recent chapters of One Piece have been focused on the Holy Knights as they continue to carry out their plan. They successfully kidnapped the kids in Elbaf, after which they began broadcasting around the country.

Currently, the odds are in the favor of the Holy Knights, as so far no one has been able to get the better of them in a fight. In fact, many fans have started to think that the Holy Knights are invincible. However, the scales will be tipped in the favor of the pirates once the Monster Trio returns to the fray.

The Monster Trio Is In The Underworld

All three members of the Monster Trio are presently in the Underworld with Loki. Luffy has been eating the food with Loki, causing both of them to become fat. Zoro and Sanji are with their captain. The Monster Trio consists of the strongest fighters among the Straw Hats. They have changed the tide of battle in almost every arc, and the Elbaf arc won't be an exception.

Out of the three, Luffy is obviously the strongest. Not only can he use his Devil Fruit Awakening, but he can also use all three Haki types. Luffy has already proven that he is capable of bringing down a character as strong as Kaido, so there's no doubt that he can beat the Holy Knights as well.

Zoro and Sanji are only next to Luffy in terms of strength. Zoro proved his worth in the Egghead arc, where he took down Rob Lucci. While Sanji did not have a 1v1 in Egghead, he did play an important role. Sanji stopped Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro with a well-placed hit, among other contributions.

Loki Has Yet To Make A Decision

The three of them have an impressive resume, so there's no doubt that they can make a difference against the Holy Knights in Elbaf. Hopefully, Oda won't keep them away from the action for too long. Once they enter the fray, the Holy Knights will be the ones whose backs will be pushed against the wall.

It is also worth noting that Loki has not picked a side yet. The Accursed Prince of Elbaf is considered a mighty warrior; after all, he attracted the interest of the Holy Knights. Loki also has a special bounty of over 2 billion berries, which is a testament to his strength. If Loki sides with the Straw Hats, the Holy Knights will be in further trouble. But like the Monster Trio, Loki's involvement will have to wait.

In the latest chapter, a small section was dedicated to the Monster Trio because the focus is currently on Nico Robin and Scopper Gaban. Eiichiro Oda seems to be setting up a major battle for Robin, whose last main test was in Wano. She fought Black Maria, one of the Tobi Roppo, and beat her with a new move. Given the caliber of the enemies in Elbaf, Oda needs to give Robin some kind of power-up, possibly Armament Haki or even Devil Fruit Awakening.

Considering the story is already in the Final Saga, there isn't too much time left for the Straw Hats to get stronger. So, Oda will need to pick up the pace and give the Straw Hats new abilities. Aside from Nico Robin, Scopper Gaban will also participate in the fight against the Holy Knights. After learning that Collun had been kidnapped, he immediately rushed towards his location.

Gaban is an elite fighter who served as Gol D. Roger's left-hand man. He traveled with the crew until it was disbanded. Gaban doesn't have a Devil Fruit, but he excels at using Haki. In fact, he is arguably the best Observation Haki user, as he was able to sense the Holy Knights even though they tried to mask their presence. Gaban also possesses Armament Haki and can use it to great effect. A fighter of this caliber will definitely make a difference in the fight.
