How they ate their Devil Fruits and what the fruits themselves look like is hardly ever shown. This is exactly what the One Piece magazine has been fixing for years now, and continues to do to this day.

On the other hand, Marco’s Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix is simply a pineapple, and that makes sense, because Marco himself looks like a pineapple and Luffy even points that out. Marco’s fruit doesn't look too special, but it certainly does have unique leaves that look like the flames of resurrection that come with this ability.
