When the Holy Knights first arrived on Elbaf, fans had already put two and two together, and come to the conclusion that they were eventually going to run into Gaban. This is simply down to the fact that Oda introduced Scopper Gaban as Ya-San, the husband of Ripley and the father of Collun. Given that Collun is one of the children of Elbaf who have been kidnapped, it is no surprise that a confrontation is inevitable here. Fans know that the Elbaf arc of One Piece is going to feature some absolutely massive battles, and it seems that the first round is almost upon the readers now.

As seen in One Piece chapter 1146, Scopper Gaban is now ready to make his move, which means that he will soon clash with the Holy Knights. In One Piece chapter 1147, Gaban will most likely join the battle vs the Holy Knights and fans will finally get to see what he's made of. It must be remembered that Oda himself hyped up Gaban to be a living legend who rivals even Roger and Rayleigh. As such, expecting anything less than a monstrous performance from Gaban against the Holy Knights would be foolish. Furthermore, the Holy Knights are immortal and the Straw Hats don't know how to break past their immortality. This is precisely what Gaban will help them with. He will expose their weakness and help the Straw Hats beat the Holy Knights.

Scopper Gaban is stronger than the Holy Knights and there is no denying that fact. Gaban is a monster comparable to a Yonko, and Sommers himself claimed that he didn't want to mess with a Yonko in the previous chapter. That alone confirms that they aren't strong enough to beat Luffy or someone on Yonko level, like Gaban. But, at the same time, fans should keep in mind that Collun exists as a pawn. The reason why Oda has Collun kidnapped is so that he can be used against Gaban as his weakness, and this will allow the Holy Knights to injure him in combat.

The Straw Hats And Gaban Will Come Out Of This Victorious

While Gaban might be at a disadvantage in this battle, it matters little. At the end of the day, the Straw Hats will save the children in one way or another, which means that Scopper Gaban will be victorious. It is highly likely that Gaban will be on the back foot because of Collun, but if the Straw Hats save them, then Gaban will go all-out and defeat the Holy Knights for good, which is exactly what all fans are hoping for. At the end of the day, the Straw Hat Pirates will come out of this victorious, as will Scopper Gaban, the legendary pirate from Roger's era, given that his important meeting with Luffy is still pending.

One Piece chapter 1147 will be out very soon, later this week. As usual, One Piece is going to drop on the upcoming Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops at 12AM JST on Monday.
