This means that while Shanks is a monstrously powerful pirate, all his commanders are incredibly high level as well, and all of them have very high bounties, with power levels that are closer in comparison to the other Yonko crew. Shanks has many commanders under him, but three stand out the most. These three are Ben Beckman, who is also the First Mate of the crew, Lucky Roux, and of course, Yasopp. In particular, Yasopp is known to be an incredibly powerful sniper, and fans recently got a glimpse of his level of skill in One Piece chapter 1126. Needless to say, he did not disappoint.

Yasopp's Skill With A Gun Have Always Been Phenomenal

  • Yasopp Is The Best Sniper

Yasopp was always known to be a very skilled sniper in the world of One Piece. In fact, it can be said that Yasopp is the world's greatest sniper within the story and that his skill with the gun is impeccable. Of course, fans know Yasopp to be Usopp's very own father, which, in a way, makes him his goal as well. Usopp wants to be like his proud old man, and at the same time, grow strong like him. In Yasopp, Oda is building a challenge for Usopp to overcome, which just goes to show that these two characters are definitely going to meet in combat at some point in the future.

Hang on, I'm not ready to meet Usopp yet! – Yasopp

As for Yasopp, fans always knew that his level of strength is very high. Just by being a part of the crew of the Yonko Shanks, fans know that Yasopp is a force to be reckoned with. In fact, he is among Shanks's three strongest underlings, which adds further hype to his name. Yasopp is an incredibly skilled commander. And, on top of that, fans know him to be a very powerful user of Observation and Armament Haki. Of course, he does not have a Devil Fruit, but he does not need one either. Even before the timeskip of One Piece, fast knew him to be tremendously skilled with a gun. For those who do not remember, Luffy said clearly that Yasopp is the best sling shooter that he has ever seen. He also claims to be capable of striking the antenna on a fly from 100 yards without even harming the rest of the fly.

Any sniper capable of pulling off a feat like that is in a league of their own, and Yasopp certainly does live up to that reputation. Unfortunately, fans did not get many chances to witness his level of skill with a gun. That said, Oda consistently builds him up to be a very powerful pirate, and, it is safe to say that his bounty is certainly going to be among the billions, which makes him an admirable goal for Usopp to surpass.

Yasopp Destroys The Entirety Of The Barto Club

Yasopp Showed A Glimpse Of His Power In One Piece 1126

In One Piece chapter 1126, fans finally got a glimpse of Yasopp’s level of strength. Of course, this was just a small tease from Oda, which means that whatever Yasopp displayed in One Piece chapter 1126 is but a fragment of his true strength. Clearly, fans got to see Shanks again in One Piece's latest chapter, and there, he was shown paying back the Barto Club for what they did to their flag long ago. For those who do not remember, Bartolomeo burned down Shanks's flag in a town protected by him and replaced it with that of Luffy. Shanks had to pay him back for that, and he did that and this week's One Piece chapter when the two pirate crews clashed in One Piece chapter 1126, resulting in Shanks's total victory. Bartolomeo was seen on his knees in front of Shanks, as he explained why he had to attack the Barto Club. If Shanks's flag is torn down, he has to restore it.

If he doesn't restore it, people would stop fearing him and those who have him as their protector would start feeling uneasy and might be in danger.

Step aside boss, we still have to teach them a lesson! – Yasopp

As such, it is required of Shanks to destroy anyone who harms his flag or the people under his protection. Shanks did just that with Bartolomeo, and then, Hongo gave him poison to deliver to Luffy and kill him within a month. Of course, Bartolomeo, being the loyal subordinate that he is, drank the poison himself, only for it to be revealed as fake. Of course, Bartolomeo and his pirate crew left the town, thanking their luck for avoiding the wrath of Shanks. However, just as he thought he managed to escape successfully, Yasopp decided to take a shot at them and utterly decimated the pirate group.

In an incredibly shocking turn of events, Yasopp shot a single bullet at this Going Luffy Senpai, the ship of the Barto Club, and utterly destroyed it. In fact, the single bullet caused a massive explosion, strong enough to blow up a small town easily. This just goes to show what level of strength he has up his sleeve. Of course, this isn't a massive feat in regards to Yasopp's sniping ability. The Going Luffy Senpai wasn't that far away from where Yasopp took the shot. This would also have been an easy target for him to hit, especially given the size of the ship. However, the incredible thing to notice here is how the ship blew up. The fact that Yasopp has bullets that can do that much damage is just a glimpse of what he is truly capable of in battle, and fans know that he has much else up his sleeve, along with incredibly Overpowered Haki as well that he hasn't displayed yet.

How Strong Is Yasopp?

Yasopp Might Be Stronger Than An Average Third Commander Of A Yonko

Overall, this chapter gave fans a proper glimpse of Yasopp's level of strength. It can be said that Yasopp is a man worthy of destroying an entire New World pirate crew in a single shot of his gun. As such, he is easily among the strongest pirates in the New World. His level of strength appears to be higher than the average third Yonko commander, which is expected, given that it was clearly stated by Brannew that the Red Hair Pirates have the best balance out of all Yonko crews.

One Piece is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of One Piece, One Piece 1126, is set to be September 15, 2024.
