It is no surprise to know that Zoro and Sanji are parallels to Rayleigh and Scopper Gaban. At the beginning of Elbaf, Oda introduced Gaban to the fans, and he clearly stated that in the Roger Pirates, three were specifically known to be very powerful, and they were Roger, Rayleigh, and Gaban. Oda then went on to highlight the fact that Gaban himself was on par with Roger and Rayleigh, meaning all three were on the same tier of strength.
