The Roger Pirates all went their own ways. Roger gave himself in to the Government, and he then ushered in the Great Age of Pirates, which began the moment Roger was executed 24 years ago.

Since then, the world of One Piece has changed forever. Pirates have flooded the sea and the One Piece is the most sought-after treasure in the world. All this was accomplished by Roger on purpose, and it all has to do with Joy Boy and Nika.
Roger Was Too Early To Fight And Take Down Imu

Fans often wonder why Roger didn't fight Imu or challenge the World Government. After all, he knew the whole truth of the world and even knew of the incoming sinking of the world. Yet, he did nothing. There is some truth to this statement, but a big chunk of it is misunderstood by the fans. The main reason why Roger didn't do anything was because he knew that he wasn't the one to challenge Imu. Roger was, unfortunately, too early, as he stated himself. In order for the Celestial Dragons to be destroyed, the two sovereigns of the world must be born. When Roger was alive, Shirahoshi, the mermaid princess, wasn't even born. In fact, Neptune didn't even know who he would marry.

One Piece: Oda Has Already Revealed Zoro's Next Power Up, And It Is A New Haki

Without Poseidon, the war against Imu couldn't be won. It is also because of this reason that Roger couldn't become Joy Boy. Roger is just like Luffy, yet the Gomu Gomu no Mi never went to him or anyone else for centuries. The reason is linked to the prophecy, which ensures that the two sovereigns are alive in the same era, since they will usher in a new age.
