The story has especially gone to a whole new level with Oda revealing Imu as Elbaf’s main villain, and them subsequently showcasing their power right away. Imu doesn’t just have a powerful Devil Fruit ability, but also powerful haki.

Imu Is The Strongest One Piece Character

Their Powers Surpass That Of Anyone Else Seen Until Now

Saint Imu Nerona was first introduced to the story about 7 years ago during the Reverie arc, and has been, since then, one of the major mysteries of the One Piece story.

Now, after 7 years of Imu in the story, fans are finally starting to get some answers regarding this very intriguing character, specifically in the Elbaf arc of the story.

Not many people anticipated this, but Imu turned out to be the main villain of Elbaf. Imu turned up on Elbaf not physically, but by taking over the body of Holy Knight Gunko.

Imu wants to wrap the conflict on Elbaf as fast as possible as Marijoa is in trouble. To do that, however, Imu has to make use of their terrifying power.

As seen in One Piece’s recent chapters, Imu used their Devil Fruit power to force Giants into a devil contract, which then turned them into their personal demon slaves. Imu now controls Dorry and Broggy.

This isn’t Imu’s only power, as they seem to be a mage who can basically conjure anything they can think of. Imu’s powers also extend to Haki, which is definitely impressive.

Imu Can Use Conqueror’s Haki

One of the Best Users Of Haki In The Series

While the main focus for fans has been Imu's Devil Fruit abilities, especially the Demonic Contracts, Imu has also showcased very powerful Haki, Conqueror’s Haki, to be specific.

Of course, fans always knew that Imu had Conqueror’s Haki, but it has officially been confirmed now. Imu used Conqueror’s Haki to knock out many people all over Elbaf. Imu’s Haki definitely has a pretty big range, given Elbaf's size, and seems to be some of the best in the series, even though, for now, Imu seems more Devil Fruit-reliant.

Imu’s Haki might also be nerfed since they are not there physically, and only using their powers through Gunko. Gunko is very strong, but probably not strong enough to fully channel the powers of someone like Imu.

Overall, it would definitely be interesting to see a Conqueror’s Haki clash between Luffy and Imu-Gunko, which might be happening soon in Elbaf.
