One Piece's Elbaf arc has proven to be absolutely sensational so far, and fans know very well that it will only keep on getting better from here onwards. Up until now, Oda was only slowly building up towards the biggest threats in the arc, and with One Piece chapter 1149, Oda has officially revealed the main villain to be none other than Imu. Undoubtedly, Imu is going to be quite an enemy for the Straw Hat Pirates to take on and defeat, and that's what makes them very special.

All fans know already that the man who will take down Imu here is Luffy, which leaves behind other members of the Straw Hat Pirates, especially Zoro and Sanji. For the longest time, fans were wondering who Zoro and Sanji would end up fighting in One Piece’s Elbaf arc. The answer is very clear now, thanks to One Piece chapter 1150.

Sanji And Zoro's Elbaf Opponents Have Been Confirmed

Dorry And Brogy Will Fight Sanji And Zoro

Sanji and Zoro are the Wings of the Pirate King, which means that they will always have a very important role to play in the story when it comes to combat. After all, they're the two strongest underlings of Luffy, and at the same time, they both have incredible heights to reach themselves. Zoro and Sanji have always been close in strength, and while some believe Zoro to be stronger, Oda has highlighted on many occasions that they're equal. In fact, in Elbaf, Oda went out of his way to introduce Scopper Gaban, a man that he clearly stated paralleled Sanji, and was equal to Rayleigh. In other words, Zoro and Sanji will always be equal, no matter what.

While Gaban and Rayleigh certainly do parallel Sanji and Zoro, they're not the only ones to do so. In fact, Oda introduced the first parallels to Zoro and Sanji back in the Little Garden arc of One Piece. In Little Garden, Oda made it quite clear that Zoro and Sanji were just like Dorry and Brogy. For those who don't know, Dorry and Brogy are monstrously powerful beasts and they led the Giant Warrior Pirates long ago, causing havoc all over the world. But, the most important thing about them is their rivalry. They fought over a dinosaur competition once, and since then have been fighting a 102-year duel which is only on pause right now. These two are pretty much equal in every way of the word, and even their bounties of 1.8 billion berries each goes to show for it.

Dorry and Brogy Join Imu's Army

In One Piece chapter 1150, Oda did the unthinkable when Imu finally showed their power in Elbaf. Much to the surprise of the fans, Imu actually became a demon and was shown to be strong enough to easily overwhelm Dorry and Brogy. What's worse, Imu used their magic powers to turn Dorry and Brogy into his own slaves, and now, they're simply immortal monsters with even greater strength than ever before.

With Dorry and Brogy now at Imu's side as his two strongest underlings, it is quite clear as to who will fight them, and the answer to that is Zoro and Sanji. Zoro and Sanji are direct parallels to Dorry and Brogy, and they're also the only ones strong enough to fight against Imu's very own strongest underlings.

How Strong Will Sanji And Zoro Be After Elbaf?

Zoro and Sanji Will Be Admiral Level After Elbaf

It shouldn't be a surprise to the fans to see Zoro and Sanji beating Dorry and Brogy. After they figure out a way to bypass immortality, they'll be able to fight a fair battle against them and eventually, through any means, win the battle. Elbaf needs to be saved, so these two absolutely have to win. Right now, they're not strong enough to beat such monsters, but eventually, they will get stronger and defeat them. Come the end of the Elbaf arc, Zoro and Sanji will be on a different level entirely and they will definitely go on to attain higher bounties than ever before, likely in the 2 billion range.

More than that, their strength should be enough to see them go up against the likes of the Four Emperors and Admirals themselves, even though they wouldn't be exactly as strong.

One Piece Chapter 1150 will be out in a week. As usual, One Piece is going to drop on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops at 12AM JST on Monday. However, the vast majority of international readers will see the chapter available on May 11. The official release date of One Piece Chapter 1150 is June 1, 2025.
