Oda has just revealed another member of the Rocks Pirates. To be clear, this member appeared in the manga already during the God Valley Incident that was briefly featured in Kuma’s flashback. Fans didn't have a name for this character, but now, Oda has revealed all about him. Here's what Oda had to say:

Answer: Yes. He's a hidden character - Actually, the protagonist of a manga I drew when I was 17. How did you figure that out?! LOL
So, this Gil Baster of the Rocks Pirates had his corpse retrieved by Gecko Moria, and he also appeared during the Thriller Bark Arc in Chapter 450. He's the Kind of character you're totally not noticing!

A Very Powerful Gun Slinger
Fans don't know much about the Gill Baster in One Piece, but he's actually from Oda's Wanted One-shot. In it, Gill Baster is revealed to be a very powerful criminal, but someone who only kills in self-defense. He killed many people in self-defense throughout his life and that's why he became highly wanted. His bounty was 970 million, which is extremely high, and although this isn't a figure in berries, if Oda were to translate it to One Piece, it probably will be.
Gill Baster even managed to kill the greatest hitman, Sino Phoenix, and that's why the police eventually dropped his bounty, deeming him too strong.
As seen in One Piece, Gill Baster had four arms and wielded four guns. He seemingly got stronger with time. He eventually died somewhere, but his corpse was found by Gecko Moria and turned into a General Zombie.
One Piece Chapter 1154 will be out in two weeks. As usual, One Piece is going to drop on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops at 12AM JST on Monday.
