The One Piece manga is going great at the moment, but July 6 will be a sad day for fans of the series.
While fans know quite a bit about the Roger Pirates, especially their members, Oda has yet to give them a detailed look at the crew. This is because the Roger Pirates have only briefly appeared in the story so far. Hopefully, that will change later down the line. For now, Oda has given fans some juicy information about the Roger Pirates, as all their roles are finally revealed.

One Piece Volume 112 dropped recently, and with it, Oda also dropped the latest SBS. In the SBS, Oda was asked about Scopper Gaban, who everyone knows is a former Roger Pirate, and what his role in the crew was. Oda confirms to the fans that Gaban was actually the navigator of the crew, and he's the one who took them to Laugh Tale, and saw to it that Roger becomes the Pirate King. However, at the same time, Oda also gave the fans a good look at the roles of all the other members of the Roger Pirates. Here's what Oda had to say:

At the same time, he also had a tactical officer, which comes as a shock to quite a few fans. An Informant is usually not needed on the crew, but Roger had one anyway, and the most shocking of all, Roger also had an interrogator, which makes his crew much cooler than most.

There are many characters connected to them, and they will most likely see more of the crew in the Elbaf flashback of Loki, and also through the flashbacks of Shanks and Buggy later down the line. The Laugh Tale arc could also give fans a better insight into the Roger Pirates later down the line.
