The One Piece world has introduced fans to quite a lot of incredible mysteries, and it goes without saying that the God Valley Incident is one of the most exciting ones. One Piece: Oda Has Already Revealed When Katakuri Will Return To The Story
Katakuri still has a huge role to play in One Piece. Oda reveals when he will return to the story.
The world shifted completely during the God Valley Incident 38 years ago, and while some powers fell on that day, other powers made a big name for themselves and had themselves enter the history books. Most curiously, however, the island on which they were all fighting, God Valley, vanished. Oda might've deftly hidden the fate of God Valley from the fans.
The God Valley Incident And The Fate Of The Island
The Rocks Pirates Attacked The Celestial Dragons On God Valley
38 years ago, the God Valley Incident happened in the world of One Piece. However, this incident was preceded by the Native Hunting Games that were conducted by the Celestial Dragons on this island. The Native Hunting Games essentially aimed to cleanse God Valley of its population, and then absorb it as a part of the World Government anew, restarting life on this island. To the World Government, this was a fun game where they hunted down those who lived on God Valley, and at the same time, some slaves they held in Marijoa for fun.

One Piece: Oda Just Made A Huge Mistake In The Latest Chapter
Oda has made a mistake in the latest One Piece chapter - fans have been quick to point it out.
However, for one reason or another, the Celestial Dragons ended up facing the wrath of Rocks D. Xebec as something was stolen from him. Rocks came to God Valley in the hunt for a certain fruit, or something even more valuable, and this news was given to Roger as well, which is why he showed up there. Meanwhile, Garp was told of Roger's presence on the island, and he wasted no time to rush to the island. The Holy Knights were already gathered there as well, and all these forces clashed in what could be described as the biggest battle in the One Piece world so far that the fans have seen. When the dust settled, the world changed drastically. Rocks fell, while the pirate crew itself split. Garp and Roger made a big name for themselves. Most importantly, God Valley itself vanished.
Where Is God Valley Currently?
Gecko Moria Knows The Answer To The Question
Fans know for a fact that God Valley was a country in the West Blue and it was chosen as the venue for the Native Hunting Games 38 years ago. It is also clear that this island wasn't completely destroyed like Ohara or burned down or fans would've heard of it. The power of the Ancient Weapons wasn't in the hands of the Government, so it wasn't blown to smithereens like Lulucia either. Clearly, something major happened to God Valley, and the answer lies with Gecko Moria and his ship, Thriller Bark.
This island was brought here all the way from the West Blue. — Brook
Fans know that Thriller Bark is the biggest ship in One Piece, and most importantly, it is actually an island. This island has magnetic waves of its own. It was clearly stolen from somewhere by Moria. Interestingly enough, Brook mentions that Thriller Bark came from the West Blue, which means that this island ship magically appeared in the Grand Line, while one island vanished. More interestingly, some of those who fell in the God Valley Incident were likely raised by Moria as Zombies, and this might've even included the likes of Silver Axe, or even Captain John. Hopefully, Oda will confirm the true fate of God Valley to the fans soon enough.
