It goes without saying that Luffy's Gear 5 is overpowered. Fans saw Luffy use his various Gear 5 techniques against Kaido very well, and even in the battle against the Gorosei, he was practically unstoppable. When it comes to a show of destructive force, fans saw very well what Luffy was capable of when he fought against Kaido.

To finish off the King of Beasts, Luffy used a technique called Bajrang Gun, and this attack saw him create a massive fist that dwarfed even the Flaming Dragon of the King of Beasts. This fist of Luffy's was bigger than the entirety of Onigashima, and thanks to its powers, Kaido was finally crushed completely, sent into an underground volcano, and then blown into the sky later on. This feat is one of the most destructive in One Piece to date. Now, Rocks D. Xebec had done something equally as terrifying.

Rocks took down an Admiral of the Navy, and what's shocking is that after so much destruction, he was able to escape from Marijoa. Some time later, he also destroyed the Gates of Justice.

The Gates Of Justice Are Bigger Than Some Islands

For those who don't remember, the Gates of Justice that guard the three Government strongholds are absolutely massive. They're bigger than the island they guard, which just goes to show what a massive feat it was for Rocks to destroy a gate that spans over kilometers and hundreds of meters in thickness. Rocks is, undoubtedly, a monster, and this wasn't even his strongest display.

That said, in the future, Luffy will definitely go on to surpass Rocks D. Xebec, and when that happens, his destructive power is likely going to be even greater. For now, Luffy must continue to train his Gear 5 and get stronger to overcome all the obstacles in his path. Fans absolutely cannot wait to see what a mastered Gear 5 looks like.
