A new character among the Straw Hat pirates is getting conqueror's haki, and it will be major in One Piece.
While almost half of the crew uses Haki, that certainly isn't enough. The Straw Hat Pirates need more Haki users, and without it, they can't survive long in the New World. The next Straw Hat to gain Haki in the Straw Hat Pirates must be none other than Nico Robin, the archaeologist of the crew, who also holds a bounty of 930 million berries. Despite her tremendous bounty, Robin hasn't yet reached the level of power that reflects her reward, and that needs to change soon.

The Old Era was filled with legends, and Oda just revealed two new ones in One Piece.
To put that into perspective, her bounty is somewhat similar to that of Smoothie, whose reward is currently at 932 million berries. Her bounty is higher than the likes of Cracker or even someone like Snack, or even Perospero. All these powerful figures are adept users of Haki, yet Robin doesn't have it yet. Robin certainly has a Commander-level bounty, but her strength isn't anywhere close.
More than that, Robin is someone who actually can fight high-level enemies. Nico Robin has fought a Tobi Roppo already and won, and the next step for her, obviously, is to fight against the likes of the Commanders. For Robin, getting Haki right now is extremely important, and if she is to compete at that level. Oda absolutely needs to give her this ability, and with her Hana Hana no Mi power, Robin would be unstoppable with Haki.

If Robin does get access to Armament and Observation Haki, then, with her Devil Fruit powers, combined with her Fishman Karate skills, she will truly be powerful and would then be able to fight and potentially even beat the likes of Yonko Commanders. For Robin, that's likely as high as she can go, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see her reach that high level of power. No matter what, Robin has to be the next Haki user in the Straw Hat Pirates.
