This article contains spoilers for the One Piece series.

One of the highlights of reading One Piece is discovering new bounties and how the old figures of beloved characters, such as the Straw Hat Pirates, rise at the end of certain arcs. One of the biggest and most anticipated reveals that will come with the Final Saga of One Piece is, of course, Luffy’s final bounty.

While only assumptions can be made about this final number, Oda has left fans with huge hints that have led many to believe his final bounty will be 5.6 billion. 5.6 billion berries is an incredible figure, and one that would be well deserved for the next Pirate King. Luffy is about to change the One Piece world and become the World Government’s worst enemy along the way.

Luffy’s Final Bounty Should Be 5.6 Billion Berries

  • 5.6 Billion is Just Over Roger

Luffy has earned himself quite an impressive bounty on his adventures. While his initial bounty started at a measly 30 million berries, it has now hit 3 billion berries after the events of Wano, which saw Luffy take down one of the Yonko, Kaido the Beast.

3 billion is already a lot, but it’s going to be outshone by what’s to come next. Luffy’s next bounty will probably be after the events of Elbaf, but this won’t be his final one. Luffy’s final bounty will be somewhere near the end of One Piece. This bounty is very likely to be 5.6 billion, and there are many reasons for that.

First off, 56 is a very important number Oda has used in regards to Luffy. The numbers 5 and 6 in Japanese are Go and Mu—making up the name of Luffy’s devil fruit, the Gomu Gomu no Mi. Aside from that, 5.6 billion would be the perfect number for the bounty of the next Pirate King. Gol D. Roger, the late Pirate King, had a bounty of 5,564,800,000 berries. This would put Luffy just above him and make perfect sense.

With Luffy’s final bounty probably being 5.6 billion, it makes fans wonder if Luffy will hold the highest bounty of the series. Out of the characters whose bounty we already know, it definitely would. After all, the highest known bounty right now is Roger’s 5,564,800,000 berries.

There are, however, a few legendary characters whose bounty hasn’t been revealed yet, like Monkey D. Dragon, but it’s unlikely he surpassed the Pirate King in that regard. Luffy definitely deserves to have the highest bounty as the new Pirate King and the next Nika, the legendary One Piece deity who will destroy Imu and the World Government once and for all.
