Everything about Rocks had been mysterious until now, but finally, Oda is showing the fans all there is to know about him. At the same time, Oda is also showing the fans the incredible relationships surrounding the character of Rocks, and in One Piece chapter 1155, Oda has now revealed a legendary fighter on par with the monster Rocks D. Xebec.

Rocks D. Xebec Was A Monster Above Yonko Level

  • Rocks Killed A Navy Admiral
  • Rocks Was Stronger Than Roger During God Valley

Fans know long before the Elbaf arc began that Rocks was an absolute monster. When he was first mentioned in One Piece chapter 1155, it was clear that Rocks was on an entirely different level from most in the world. He was even portrayed to be stronger than the legends Roger and Garp, and of course, even Whitebeard, who was actually his own subordinate. That said, there is still a debate to be had surrounding Rocks since it isn't entirely clear as to how strong they were at the time.

Regardless, what is undeniable is that Rocks D. Xebec was high above the level of the average Yonko. It was recently revealed in One Piece chapter 1154 that Rocks attacked the Reverie 56 years ago and there, he managed to kill a Navy Admiral before he vanished. In One Piece chapter 1155, more of Rocks's exploits were shown, and it is now even clearer that few could match him.

Harald And Rocks Clashed Equally In Marijoa

One Piece chapter 1155 gave the fans a new level of respect for Rocks, and this is largely because he not only defeated an Admiral, but succeeded in kidnapping 5 Kings, and later on, charged into the Pangaea Castle, finding his way to the Room of Flowers to Imu. Not only did Rocks threaten Imu, but he later went on to clash with another monster, and this person was none other than Harald.

Most One Piece fans didn't think much of Harald until now. While he was always portrayed to be strong, it is clear that Harald was actually a legendary monster who could rival even the likes of Rocks D. Xebec. In Marijoa, these two clashed similarly to Whitebeard and Roger, and blew away everyone in their surroundings.

When I was a kid, I thought to myself: man I would love to draw a manga with the most hyped final stage! I wonder if I'm up to it! Now, we have only a tiny bit of Wano arc left, the preparations are almost done. Took me 25 years lol. That said, it's fine if you start reading from this point on. Because from this point on...it'll be... The ONE PIECE!! The mysteries of this world, I'll be drawing all of them! It'll be super interesting! Fasten your seatbelt! And please stay with me for a bit longer! — Eiichiro Oda, Author of One Piece, 2022

Harald Earned The Admiration Of Rocks

Rocks D. Xebec was easily able to defeat an Admiral of the Marines, but against Harald, he wasn't able to do much. The clash was even, suggesting a parity in power. More than anything, Harald earned the respect of the legendary Rocks D. Xebec on this day, which just goes to show that they were close in terms of power.
