At the same time, the Loki flashback has also introduced fans to other legendary figures, some of whom have been awaited by fans for years upon years, such as Rocks D. Xebec. As always, these flashbacks in the Elbaf arc are proving to be absolutely amazing, with some massive reveals being made by Oda. Most recently, Oda finally revealed the father of Blackbeard, and it is safe to say that it has shocked some fans.

Rocks D. Xebec Is Confirmed To be Blackbeard's Father

  • Rocks Led The Legendary Rocks Pirates
  • Rocks Was Killed In God Valley

One Piece chapter 1154 was absolutely sensational in more ways than one. Not only did fans finally get to see a lot of exciting information about Elbaf’s past and its struggles, such as the famines, but at the same time, Oda also revealed how Elbaf improved drastically over the years. Most importantly, Oda revealed to the fans the connections that were forged by Harald while he was out of Elbaf, and one such connection was with Rocks D. Xebec. Apparently, Harald and Xebec met in God Valley, and it is there that the latter went on to single-handedly fight and kill a Marine Admiral, something that is considered quite difficult to achieve. This earned him a massive bounty and a lot of infamy.

As the narrator revealed all this information about Rocks D. Xebec, Oda then went on to tell the fans that Rocks was actually not even a pirate captain at this point, and more importantly, that he is the father of the legendary Yonko Blackbeard.

Buggy Might Also Be Rocks's Son

Buggy’s Birth Is Connected To The God Valley Incident

Fans now know very well that Blackbeard is the son of Rocks D. Xebec, but he might not be the only son. There is another that is heavily speculated to be the son of the legendary Rocks D. Xebec, and that's none other than Buggy. Of course, fans might wonder how that's possible, but the answer lies in the God Valley Incident. Just like Shanks, Buggy is 39 years old, which means he was born 1 year before the God Valley Incident. Curiously enough, it is said that the Government took something from Rocks, which he went to retrieve from the Pirate Island. This could very well be Buggy, and just like Shanks ended up with Roger after the God Valley Incident, Buggy could've found a similar caretaker at first, before moving to the Roger Pirates eventually.

It's even more interesting or know that official One Piece merch has stated Buggy's true identity to be hidden.

Buggy's nose isn't real, but it's used by him to hide his true identity. Given his age, the hidden identity, and the connection to the God Valley Incident, Buggy has to be the child of some prominent pirate who took part in the fighting there and the answer is most likely Rocks.

Buggy And Blackbeard Could Be Half-Brothers

Buggy and Blackbeard are most likely half-brothers, just as Hajrudin and Loki are. This adds to the parallel between Buggy and Shanks. Fans know very well that Shanks considers Buggy his brother, and the world sees the two as sworn brothers as well. On the flip side, Buggy is actually the blood brother of Blackbeard, Shanks's sworn enemy, which only makes their relationship more exciting.
