In One Piece chapter 1148, Oda once again highlighted to the fans that Haki is the greatest power of all in the world. Of course, Devil fruits can possess the most power, as they likely do, but Haki is more versatile and more important in high-level battles. As Kaido said in the Wano Country arc, Devil Fruits can take one far, but only Haki transcends all.

This was once again proven in One Piece chapter 1148, when Scopper Gaban fought against the Holy Knight Sommers. With his immense Haki, Gaban was able to cut down Sommers, even though Luffy couldn't do it in Egghead. The key here is to use some advanced form of Haki that doesn't target the physical body but the soul of the individual.
Given that this power is going to be crucial when it comes to damaging the likes of the Five Elders, Holy Knights, and even Imu, it is quite clear to see that once again, Oda is hinting at the fact that Haki is the most important power one can have in the New World, especially if they're encountering the likes of the Celestial Dragon.
