In One Piece chapter 1162, Oda officially revealed to the fans the original intended user of Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu, one of the most powerful Zoan Devil Fruits. Evidently, this Devil Fruit was supposed to go to Charlotte Katakuri initially, but instead, it was eaten by Kaido of the Rocks Pirates, who then ended up becoming a Yonko.

When Big Mom first stole the Devil Fruit from Ivankov in God Valley, she wanted to give it to none other than her son, Charlotte Katakuri. According to Big Mom, this would've been a good fit for him, and given his powers, Katakuri would've become invincible.

Unfortunately for her, Kaido ambushed her when she least expected it, and he ended up eating the Devil Fruit for himself. Given the powers of this Devil Fruit, fans got to see Kaido transforming into a giant eastern dragon capable of large-scale destruction, becoming almost invincible.

If Katakuri ate this fruit, he would've become Yonko-level as an adult, and given that he had access to all three types of Haki, he would certainly be in the running for becoming the most powerful pirate on the seas. Unfortunately for him, Kaido ate this fruit and the rest is history.
