Speaking of new powers, there are a lot that Oda has illustrated in this arc that have blown the fans away. While some of these powers are nothing too special, others have opened up new possibilities and changed the power system of One Piece forever.
10 Lucci's Awakening
Rob Lucci is a major antagonist of The Egghead Arc and he has done incredibly well in this role so far. Immediately after his arrival on Egghead, Lucci revealed his powerful awakened form to the readers.
With his newfound powers, he was able to dispose of Sentomaru without much trouble. At the same time, he also ended up fighting against Luffy's Gear 5, only to lose the battle.
9 Kaku's Awakening
Kaku also had his Devil Fruit awakened in the Egghead arc and this was certainly a great reveal for the fans. His already bizarre giraffe powers were taken to the next level where he could even clash with Zoro on an even footing.
Kaku had certainly leveled up quite a bit, and his newfound strength, along with other increased physical attributes, made him a menace for those whom he took on in combat.
8 Garp's Haki
Garp also featured heavily in the Egghead Island art. He led an operation to rescue Koby and ended up fighting against the Blackbeard Pirates. In the midst of all the fighting, Garp revealed his Conqueror's Haki to the fans.
Using this power, he was able to fight the entirety of the Blackbeard Pirates by himself, including the likes of the former Admiral, Kuzan. Despite a powerful force being present on the opposing side, Garp was in charge for the majority of the fight. However, he ended up losing in the end.
7 Koby's Honesty Impact
On the Pirate Island, Garp was not the only one who displayed new powers. Koby, his apprentice, also went on to great lengths and awakened new powers.
With his incredible Color of Arms evolving to the next level, he launched a punch so strong that it blew away the entire arm of the giant created by Pizarro. He has certainly done exceedingly well to improve as a Marine and is destined for greatness.
6 Lunarian Lineage Factor
The Lunarian powers were introduced in the Wano arc and they have only been explored further in the Egghead Arc.
This power was seen being used in the Seraphims and all of them exhibit this incredible ability. While the power itself is not new, the fact that it can be infused in other beings using Lineage Factor Manipulation certainly is new.
5 Green Blood
One of the greatest new powers introduced in the Egghead Arc in One Piece is certainly Green Blood. This is synthetic blood that was manufactured by Vegapunk himself.
Using this blood, Paramecia powers can be replicated and granted to individuals such as the Seraphims. Fans have seen all the Seraphims being capable of using this power, and it is safe to say that they're incredibly overpowered partly because of it.
4 Blackbeard Pirates' Devil Fruits
On the Pirate Island, fans got to see quite a lot of new Devil Fruit abilities being revealed. The likes of Avalo Pizarro, Vasco Shot, and Sanjuan Wolf, were seen using new Devil Fruit powers.
Pizarro had the power of the Shima Shima no Mi, Shot showcased the power of the Gabu Gabu no Mi, while Wolf showed the power of the Deka Deka no Mi.
3 Five Elders' Devil Fruits
The Five Elders were also heavily involved in the Egghead arc and had their Devil Fruit abilities teased. It appears all of them have different Devil Fruit powers which appear to be Zoan.
Their exact Devil Fruit power has not been revealed to the fans, however, it is only a matter of time before they get to see what these powers are. One of them, Saturn, is currently on Egghead and he could very well get involved in the fighting soon enough.
2 Imu's Devil Fruit
Imu is the sovereign of the entire world and certainly an incredibly powerful figure. In the Reverie flashback of Sabo, fans got to see the Devil Fruit ability of Imu as well.
The name of the ability was not revealed to the fans, however, it certainly appears to be dangerous and powerful enough to consume Sabo's fire whole.
1 Ancient Energy
Quite easily the greatest power that was revealed in the Egghead arc is ancient energy. This ancient energy was said to power up the ancient Iron Giant that is currently on Egghead.
Curiously, Luffy was somehow able to produce this ancient energy using his Gear 5 when he fought against Kizaru as the ancient Iron Giant finally awoke from its slumber. This suggests that Luffy could very well be the source of this incredible power.
