One Piece Episode 1115 expanded further on the battle between Monkey D. Garp and his former pupil, Kuzan. The two have a lot of history, but that didn't prevent them from exchanging blows. Kuzan wants to keep Koby on the island as he is a valuable prisoner of Blackbeard. On the other hand, Garp wants to rescue the young Marine Captain and take him away. Both of them wanted different things, so a fight was inevitable.

Garp used Galaxy Impact upon his arrival on the island and nearly destroyed the entire town. While the attack deterred the brigands, it didn't affect Kuzan in the least. The ex-Admiral's first course of action was freezing Hibari. With this move, he effectively stopped Koby from escaping. Garp knew that Kuzan wasn't going to let them pass, so the Vice Admiral got ready to pummel his old pupil.

Monkey D. Garp's Blue Hole Shocks Everyone

Garp Used A New Attack To Stop Kuzan

As the fight between Kuzan and Garp began to pick up steam, the former Marine began using his ice powers freely. Kuzan started by freezing the ground and Garp's feet. He followed it up with Ice Ball, which trapped Garp inside a massive block of ice. The final move in his combo was picking up a massive shard of ice and launching at Garp, shattering him into a million pieces. In his ideal world, the shard would have hit, and the fight would be over. However, the legendary Marine wasn't going to go down so easily.

Garp used his Conqueror's Haki to break out and dodged the shard comfortably. Now it was time for the Vice Admiral to begin his attack, and he did so by launching the broken pieces of ice back at Kuzan. The one-time Admiral narrowly avoided being hit and subsequently created a tall structure and began shooting projectiles towards Garp. However, the master was one step ahead, and he completely fooled Kuzan and sent him crashing into the ground with a new attack called Blue Hole.

Those who waver...are weak. —Monkey D. Garp

The attack was infused with Conqueror's Haki and Armament Haki, so it was extremely potent. As soon as Kuzan made contact with the ground, the thick sheet of ice cracked and caused a massive hole. The buildings and the ground shattered, which put the pirates in complete disarray. As Kuzan continued to fall, he looked at Garp's face and saw pain in his mentor's eyes. It was clear that Garp did not want to fight his old student.

Garp Will Get A Chance To Show His Power

The Blackbeard Pirates Will Join The Fight Soon

  • Garp possesses all three types of Haki
  • His phsical strength is far superior to most

It may look like Kuzan is out of the picture, but a former Admiral will not be so easily beaten. In the next episode, fans will get to see Kuzan and Garp continue their epic battle. Garp has the edge so far, and he has proved that his age hasn't affected him in the least. He was able to wreak havoc with just two attacks, and there is good reason to believe that the other moves in his locker must be equally destructive. As the fight resumes, the Vice Admiral will get the opportunity to use more moves. However, he must quickly wrap up things as the Blackbeard Pirates have not made their way to his location. Once they reach the battleground, Garp will be at a significant disadvantage, as he will have to hold off multiple people at the same time.

If the Blackbeard Pirates go after Koby and the others, it will cause even more problems for Garp. The Vice Admiral is not someone who will abandon his subordinates, so he will try to shield them from harm. The Blackbeard Pirates can use it to turn the tide of battle and help out Kuzan. The soldiers that Garp brought with him are mostly inexperienced youngsters, and they cannot handle the Titanic Captains of the Blackbeard Pirates.

Who Will Win The Battle In Hachinosu?

The Winner Can Change in A Second

Given the present circumstances, a victory for Garp seems to be on the cards. But as previously stated, the situation can shift in seconds. If Garp stays on Hachinosu for too long, the Blackbeard Pirates will indubitably attack him and the Marines. If that happens, Garp and his group will be trapped on the island. The Blackbeard Pirates are far superior in terms to the Marines as a group. So, if they all attack at the same time, the Marines are done for.

This will be the ideal outcome for Blackbeard, as he will be able to strike a deal with the World Government by offering them the Hero of the Marines in exchange. Koby could have been overlooked as he was affiliated with SWORD, but the organization cannot turn a blind eye to Garp. Refusing to barter with Blackbeard would result in public humiliation for the World Government. The people will understand that if the bureaucrats don't care about the greatest ever Marine, they certainly don't mind letting them die. The World Government cannot risk such a thing happening, so it will be compelled to accept Blackbeard's proposal.
