One Piece Episode 1129 Is Pushed Back
The One Piece anime came back just recently a month ago from a very long, 6 month long hiatus. This break was surprising and many fans didn’t see it coming. One month after its return, the anime is going on a break once again, but this one isn’t that long, so fans don’t have to worry too much.
May 11 2025, which is next Sunday, would have given fans a new One Piece episode, specifically, One Piece episode 1129. Instead, fans will be getting a recap episode, which isn’t too exciting and fans don't really care about. This recap episode will feature Tony Tony Chopper, where he discusses the bond between Kuma and Bonney, and this episode will be titled “Dr. Chopper’s Clinical Records - A Father and Daughter’s Ballad.” Fans are definitely disappointed by this sudden news. Recap episodes are universally not very liked, and many fans see them as a waste of time. It’s especially annoying to many fans as the anime hasn’t returned that long ago, so a break seems unnecessary.

However, after that, the manga is going on yet another two-week break even though it just returned from one. This shouldn't come as a surprise to the fans, given that One Piece usually takes a break after every 3 chapters. Since the last break was from the magazine and not Oda, the author is taking his own break after completing his third chapter.
