The truth behind Loki's eyes is revealed - and it's an insane revelation by Oda in One Piece.
The Summit War is the Biggest War Seen in One Piece so Far
- The Marineford Arc Remains One Of The Most Iconic In The Series
- Even The Wano War Doesn’t Come Close To It
Marineford is one of the most widely praised arcs in the entirety of the One Piece series. Marineford is a part of the Summit War Saga, which concluded the first part of the One Piece series.
The Marineford arc is beloved by many, despite missing the entire Straw Hat Pirate crew, apart from Luffy. Despite the Straw Hats not being present, Oda showcased some incredible characters during this arc nonetheless, the most prominent being Whitebeard, with his powerful fruit the Gura Gura no Mi. This was the first time in the series that the fans had a look at the true power of a Yonko, and it certainly didn’t let anyone down.
The war between a Yonko crew and the Marines was definitely one to be remembered, but as great as it was, it will not be the biggest war of the series. Wano was also a big war, but it can’t be compared to Marineford as far as the warring aspect is concerned.
That said, there will be at least two bigger wars, and one of them will be happening very soon.
The Next War Will Be The Biggest In One Piece Yet
The War on Pirate Island Is About To Begin
One character fans have been dying to see in action is Blackbeard. Blackbeard was properly introduced back in the Jaya arc and has made some moves in the series since, rising to the rank of an Emperor, just like Luffy.
While Blackbeard has continued to cause issues across the New World, his biggest move saw him capture a major member of the Marines, Garp the Hero, and this is a huge deal. Garp is, after all, the grandfather of Luffy, and despite their differences, Luffy will certainly save him if it comes down to it. More than that, Garp is a symbol for the World Government and the Navy that they simply cannot ignore.
One Piece: Oda Reveals How Both Zoro and Sanji Will Surpass Kaido
Kaido is a powerful Yonko, but eventually, he will be surpassed by both Zoro and Sanji in One Piece.
Blackbeard will try to negotiate with the Marines for Garp’s release, but this is doomed to go sour since there is no way the Government will recognize Blackbeard and give him his own country. As such, fans should expect Blackbeard to try and set up an execution for Garp.
This will cause a huge war, one in which many will be involved, along with the Straw Hat Pirates. Some of the Marines, like SWORD and Sengoku, will likely join, as well as the Big Mom Pirates, due to the capture of Pudding, and possibly even the Kuja. Blackbeard could even join the Cross Guild, since their goal is to take out the Navy, which will definitely take this war to a whole new level.
