Now, Loki has finally been revealed, and in his debut chapter, he was portrayed by Oda as a complete monster in combat. Of course, Loki's combat abilities still remain unknown, which leaves room for speculation among the fans. Right now, quite a lot of the fans are wondering how strong Loki is, and how he compares to the Yonko of the One Piece world, who are easily some of the strongest individuals to have ever lived.

Loki's Portrayal In One Piece So Far

  • Loki Is The Accursed Prince
  • Loki Possesses A Legendary Devil Fruit

Loki is certainly a monstrously powerful fighter. While fans have not seen him engage in any combat so far, the portrayal by Oda certainly does back it up. The first thing that Oda pointed out was that Loki and Giants together could have helped Big Mom become the King of the Pirates, and defeat even the likes of Whitebeard, Shanks, and of course, Kaido. Oda clearly stated in this arc that had the Giants sided with her, she would have left all the others in the dust. Of course, this doesn't mean that Loki alone would have gotten the job done, but it certainly is a factor, because he was the driving force for the agreement between her and the Giants, since he was smitten with Lola.

Loki's Monstrous Power Level Is Mind-blowing

In One Piece chapter 1130, Oda did something even more exciting as he used the Giants that were traveling with the Straw Hat Pirates to the great Warland Elbaf, to deliver exposition on Loki. According to the Giants, Loki has been troublesome ever since he was young, and he has gone on to commit several crimes over the years. Eventually, Loki even killed his own father, and this led to him being sentenced to crucifixion. Of course, doing this was not easy. Loki was so strong that it took the strength of all the Giants in Elbaf together to restrain him. This surprised even the likes of the Straw Hat Pirates, because anyone strong enough to resist the mightiest race in One Piece must be monstrously powerful.

To back it up, the Giants said that Loki remains locked up in Elbaf, but, the day he leaves his change will be the day that he destroys the world. Loki is capable of destroying the world in One Piece, which essentially means that he is one of the mightiest individuals in the series.

Loki's Legendary Devil Fruit Holds Mighty Power

Fans also know that Loki possesses a mighty Devil Fruit. This devil fruit was eaten by him after killing King Harald, his own father. This devil fruit is said to be legendary in nature, and it was passed down the royal line, which means that now, Loki is in possession of its powers. What the powers are and what it does isn't known. Loki claims himself to be the Sun God and bring about the destruction of the world in one way or another. Clearly, this devil fruit boosts Loki's powers greatly, and fans cannot wait to see that. But, the important part is that this devil fruit is one of the mightiest in the One Piece world, and it allows him to fight the entire Giant race and still pose quite a challenge.

Loki's Claim Of Destroying The World

The biggest hint that Oda dropped in regards to Loki being incredibly powerful is his own claim of destroying the world. Loki believes himself to be the Sun God and the one who will destroy the world. This is absolutely massive, because it is backed up by the Giants as well. Of course, Loki can fool himself into believing that he can destroy the world, but the entire giant race certainly can't be fooled. The Giants fully believe that Loki has enough power to destroy the world, and, Elbaf will it. The fact that everyone believes this, Loki included, means that he certainly has the means to do so, which means he's very powerful.

How Loki Compares To The Yonko In One Piece

Loki's Powers Should Be on Yonko Tier

Of course, fans know that Loki is very powerful, and that would inevitably lead to comparisons with the likes of the Yonko. Right now, Loki has not fought any Yonko in One Piece, so, a comparison is very difficult to make. But, fans did get a direct confrontation between a Yonko and Loki recently. Although they did not fight, this confrontation already revealed to the fans quite a lot of exciting things.

In One Piece chapter 1130, Luffy, who has recently become one of the Four Emperors of the Sea, spoke to Loki, and this meeting was certainly exciting.

Luffy Senses Loki's Powers

Oda's portrayal of Loki as one of the strongest in the world couldn't be clearer, especially when he uses the protagonist of the series, Luffy, to signify that Loki possesses immense power. Immediately after setting foot on Elbaf, Luffy started sensing this presence. According to Luffy, the presence of this person was so strong that he got goosebumps. Luffy clearly recognizes Loki as a massive source of power, and this comes even when Loki is restrained, likely with the chains consisting of Sea Prism Stone. Loki is clearly a monstrously powerful individual, and one that directly compares to the Yonko.

Is Loki Yonko Level?

Loki Could Potentially Be Stronger Than The Yonko

The question of whether Loki is Yonko level or not is rather easy to answer. As things stand, Loki is easily on the same level as the Yonko, given everything that fans have heard about him. He must possess a tremendously overpowered devil fruit, and if that isn't enough, fans also know that he must have powerful Haki, as Elbaf warriors tend to have the mighty Haki. Characters such as Dorry and Brogy have utilized the Spear of Elbaf previously, and there is absolutely no reason to doubt that Loki has this power too. Being a prince, Loki has kingly blood, which means that he could be a potential wielder of Supreme King Haki as well.

Clearly, Loki has more than enough potential to be considered in the same league as the Yonko. Being someone strong enough to destroy the entire world might even put him above the Yonko, but fans have not seen enough from him to say that he can actually surpass their level of power. Still, Luffy is in front of Loki right now, and fans will soon find out how strong this beastly character truly is.
