June 8 will Be A Sad Day For One Piece Fans

One Piece 1151 Drops, But the Break Will Start

One Piece fans have had an amazing streak of chapters over the past few weeks. The One Piece manga has truly surpassed all expectations with this final saga, especially the arc that is ongoing, Elbaf.

Starting with One Piece chapter 1149 and going now into One Piece chapter 1151, Imu made their entrance through Gunko, and it has only been going downhill for the Straw Hats and their allies since then. Imu showcased their insanely powerful Devil Fruit ability and Haki. No one is safe on Elbaf right now, and that's what makes things so exciting. One Piece enjoyed a 3 chapter run, so fans are definitely satiated.

With how exciting the story is at the moment, fans of the series want the chapters to keep rolling out, but sadly, there will be a break very soon.

The next chapter, One Piece 1151, will drop this Sunday, June 8, 2025, as scheduled. While this is great, that day will also mark the beginning of the break. The chapter after that, One Piece Chapter 1152, will not be coming out for a while. Oda usually takes only a week break, so fans can expect the manga to return after two weeks following chapter 1151, on the 22nd of June, 2025.

It seems that Oda has gone back to his usual 3 chapters in a row schedule, with a one-week break after. While this is sad, it’s definitely for the best as Oda needs rest from time to time to be able to push out the new chapters.
