This article contains spoilers from One Piece's Elbaf Arc.
Zoro is the swordsman of the Straw Hat Pirates in One Piece and fans know him to be an incredibly powerful fighter. With the aim of becoming the strongest swordsman in the One Piece world, Zoro trains relentlessly and fights strong enemies so that he can one day defeat the strongest swordsman in the world, Dracule Mihawk. Zoro is extremely strong, but fans know very well that he isn't anywhere close to the level of the Admirals or the Yonko at the moment. These enemies will be incredibly difficult for Zoro to beat as things stand, and that's precisely why he needs a power-up.
One Piece: Oda Officially Reveals A New Legendary Pirate Of The Old Era
The Old Era was filled with legends, and Oda just revealed two new ones in One Piece.
In fact, Oda has already set up a very big power-up for Zoro in the Elbaf arc. This power-up might very well be his final one, and it will ensure once and for all that Zoro can go head-to-head with the legends of the One Piece world, and even stand a chance at defeating the World's Strongest Swordsman, Dracule Mihawk.
Zoro Will Learn To Control Conqueror's Haki In Elbaf
Zoro's Big Elbaf Power Up Will Be Controlled Conqueror's Haki
- Zoro's skillset will finally be complete in Elbaf
- Zoro will be a top-tier fighter in Elbaf
At this point in the story, Zoro has just about everything that he needs as a master swordsman. He has mastered his personal style impeccably well and he is a user of Haki. Zoro recently unlocked the strongest form of Haki, that being Conqueror's Haki, and with it, he can truly rival and beat Mihawk.

One Piece: Oda Officially Hints At The Next Haki User In The Straw Hats
The next haki user of the Straw Hats has been revealed, and fans can't wait to see it unfold in One Piece.
However, he doesn't know how to use it properly yet. It is safe to say that Zoro's usage of Conqueror's Haki is very rough and, worse, inefficient. That's precisely what Elbaf will fix for him. This small power-up that will allow him to efficiently control his Conqueror's Haki will see him jump up in power level several times.
Zoro should be strong enough to fight against the likes of Admirals once he learns how to efficiently utilize his Conqueror's Haki. Given that Zoro already has everything that he could need to compete at the highest level, this will be his final power-up in One Piece, and that's what makes it extremely special. In Elbaf, Zoro will truly master his Haki, and also learn to fight and counter the likes of the Holy Knights, or even stronger individuals, like Evil Dorry.

Mihawk Vs Zoro Is Getting Closer
Zoro Will Grow Stronger After Beating Mihawk
With Elbaf likely giving Zoro his final One Piece power-up, it is highly likely that he will then be ready to challenge the strongest swordsman in the world, Dracule Mihawk. Mihawk currently stands at the top with the best sword skills in the world, and Zoro isn't all that behind either. Zoro will come for this throne after the Elbaf arc, specifically when the Straw Hat Pirates trade blows against the Cross Guild. Zoro becoming the World's Greatest Swordsman is now just a matter of time. All fans need to do is wait and patiently see this dream of his become a reality.
