After the end of the latest One Piece arc, Wano, Luffy rose to the position of Yonko, and the members of the Straw Hat pirates are known as its Officers. Just like every Yonko crew, the Straw Hat Pirates have a formidable set of fighters.
Updated on September 6, 2024, by Rei Penber: The Straw Hat Pirates have established themselves as a massively powerful pirate crew on the Grand Line. Given that they are a Yonko crew, their commanders have, naturally, maintained standards and reached high levels of strength. Thankfully, Luffy's underlings have reached great levels of strength, and in the Final Saga, showcased themselves to be tremendously powerful. While this list already goes over all the Straw Hat Commanders, it has now been updated with their unique powers and abilities.
9 Usopp
- Devil Fruit: Usopp does not have access to Devil Fruit ability. This is because he never ate a Devil Fruit and it doesn't seem like he's keen on eating one even if he were to find it. He usually relies on his slingshot in combat, and he has combined them efficiently with Pop Green, which is his weapon of choice.
- Haki: In terms of Haki, Usopp is still growing. He has access to Observation Haki, and he will, at some point, gain access to Armament Haki. It is possible that he will gain access to Conqueror's Haki as well, however, for now, he can just use one type of Haki.
Usopp is one of the three weakest members of the Straw Hat Pirates and his performance in the war of Wano certainly proved that. Although he is an incredibly skilled sniper and has access to Observation Haki as well, he still has a ways to go.
Usopp has a bounty of 500 million berries, however, his skill isn't up to the mark just yet. Out of all the Officers of the Straw Hat Pirates, he is the weakest.
Strongest Ability: Observation Haki
Usopp is one of the most important members of the Straw Hat Crew and he's also one of the weakest. As a commander, however, Usopp has a 500 million beri bounty and the strength to back it up as well.
His biggest ability, by far, is his Observation Haki. He also has other powerful abilities up his sleeve, such as Impact Wolf.
8 Nami
- Devil Fruit: Nami does not possess any Devil Fruit ability, just like Usopp. She makes use of her climatact in combat, and her strongest ability is Zeus, who fused with her climatact in the Wano Arc. Nami can dish out great damage, but she certainly is a glass cannon.
- Haki: Nami does not possess any Haki. In fact, she's one of the very few individuals in Yonko crews who does not possess this mystical ability. In the future, she might awaken this power.
Nami is, quite possibly, the weakest member of the Straw Hat Pirates physically, however, her acquisition of Zeus has made her stronger than before.
In Wano, Nami was just as bad as Usopp, however, thanks to the homie, she was able to perform better. She has a bounty of 366 million berries on her head. Despite that, Nami is among the weakest Commanders of the crew.
Strongest Ability: Zeus
Nami was one of the weakest fighters in the crew, even after the timeskip, however, after the events of Wano, things have changed drastically.
One Piece: 5 Characters Who Can Beat Saturn
These characters can take down Saturn, a powerful gorosei.
Nami currently has access to Zeus and he possesses enough firepower to even injure a member of the Tobiroppo. Zeus' Thunderbolt was able to put down Ulti and, more importantly, it also made S-Shark cough up smoke.
7 Brook
- Devil Fruit: Brook is the user of the Yami Yami no Mi, which means that he can manipulate his soul as he wants. He also has the ability to establish dominance over some other souls, given that he is the Soul King. Brook can also summon the chill of the underworld, which the fans have seen on many occasions, and all this is down to his devil fruit power.
- Haki: In terms of Haki, Brook cannot utilize any form. This is quite strange, given that he has been alive for 90 years, however, at some point, he might pick up this skill. Still, his skills as a swordsman are immense.
Brooke is the musician of the Straw Hat Pirates and one of the Nine Great Officers under Luffy. He is an incredibly skilled swordsman and excels at using his speed to his advantage.
In Wano, Brook showed the ability to take on threats such as the Numbers without even breaking a sweat. He has a bounty of 383 million berries on his head and it is certainly deserved. Without a doubt, Brook is a skilled commander of the crew.
Strongest Ability: Underworld Chill Manipulation
Brook is a very skilled fighter in One Piece and certainly an impressive Straw Hat Commander. His strongest abilities are tied to his Devil Fruit which lets him manipulate the powers of the underworld.
Brook can't specifically summon the underworld cold and that is his strongest weapon in combat. He can freeze people with his slashes and one of them was seen taking down a member of the Numbers, along with Gifters in Wano.
6 Chopper
- Devil Fruit: Chopper is the user of the Hito Hito no Mi, and he ate this Devil Fruit at quite a young age. Over the years, he has developed many Rumble Balls and he can access multiple transformations using this drug. Chopper’s strongest form is the Monster Point, which he evolved in Wano.
- Haki: Unfortunately, Chopper does not have access to any Haki, which makes him one of the few individuals in the Yonko crew to not have access to this ability at all. Chopper still has a lot of growth left to undergo, and he might gain access to this power later down the line.
Although Chopper is often clubbed with Nami and Usopp as a member of the Weakling Trio, he is far from weak. Chopper's Devil Fruit allows him to fight some of the most dangerous enemies competently.
One Piece: 21 Characters Who Can Beat Blackbeard
Blackbeard is one of the most powerful characters in the One Piece world and only a few can hope to defeat him.
In Wano, he even clashed against Queen the Plague for half an hour, and although he didn't deal any damage, He managed to stand his ground. Chopper has a measly bounty of 1000 berries, but he is an incredibly powerful Officer of the crew.
Strongest Ability: Monster Point
Chopper has quite a lot of power up his sleeve and he showcased that in Wano very well. Clearly, his strongest ability is his Monster Point.
In Wano, he revealed the fact that he could now use it for 30 minutes, which is an extended period of time. This power is incredibly deadly, however, Chopper still needs to level up in many aspects.
5 Franky
- Devil Fruit: Franky does not have any Devil Fruit power, and he would rather rely on science than utilize the powers of these mystical fruits. Given the opportunity to eat, he outright declined.
- Haki: Franky does not possess the ability to use Haki at all. That said, he makes use of science to make up for it.
One of the strongest fighters under Luffy, Franky is the shipwright of the Straw Hat Pirates. He has modified his body and made himself into a cyborg and, as such, his fighting prowess is incredibly high.
In Wano, Franky took down a member of the Numbers in a single shot. Later on, he went on to take Sasaki, one of Kaido's Tobi Roppo, in battle and defeated him with rather ease. Franky has a bounty of 394 million berries, and one could say that he deserves more. He's certainly a competent Officer.
Strongest Ability: Franky Shogun
Franky's strongest ability is, surely, the Franky Shogun. This is a giant mecha that he developed during the two-year timeskip using wapometal.
One Piece: 9 Strongest Characters Without Devil Fruit Or Haki
Devil Fruits and Haki are the two main power systems in One Piece. These characters manage without either.
Shogun Franky is quite a powerful weapon to use in combat. However, it did not survive the fight against Sasaki. Franky seems to have mended it since then, however, he still needs to level up his arsenal desperately.
4 Nico Robin
- Devil Fruit: Nico Robin has the power of the Hana Hana no Mi, and fans have seen it extensively on many occasions. In Wano, she was able to take this power to the next level, and it is safe to say that she is getting closer to Devil Fruit Awakening.
- Haki: Robin does not possess Haki at this point in time. This is quite strange, given her level of strength, as well as her hunger for battle. She should be gaining Haki at some point in the Final Saga.
Nico Robin is the archaeologist of the crew and, although she rarely gets involved in big fights, she is extremely powerful. In Wano, Fans got to see Robin fight against Black Maria in an enthralling combat which she eventually won.
Robin is incredibly skilled and has a bounty of 930 million berries to show for it, along with the tremendous knowledge that she possesses. Undoubtedly, Robin is a more than capable commander of the crew.
Strongest Ability: Demonio Fleur
Nico Robin is one of the strongest Straw Hat Commanders by far and her bounty of 930 million berries goes to show for it. Her strongest ability is Demonio Fleur which she awakened in Wano during her fight against Black Maria.
This form sees her take a demonic appearance and crush her enemies with the strengthened powers of her Devil Fruit ability. Robin still has room to grow and this power of hers can get even stronger in the future.
3 Jinbe
- Devil Fruit: Jinbe does not have access to any Devil Fruit, and he is purely a martial artist within the Straw Hat Pirates. He has great control over Fishman Karate as well as Fishman Jiu-Jitsu.
- Haki: Jinbe does possess Haki, and he has great control over both Armament and Observation Haki. His Armament Haki isn't the strongest, however, he does combine it very well with Fishman Karate to develop powerful blows such as Onigawara Seiken.
The Helmsman of the crew, Jinbe is one of Luffy's three strongest men. As a former Shichibukai, he has made a tremendous name for himself on the seas.
Jinbe's strength is highly respected all over the Grand Line. In Wano, he fought Who's Who and defeated him with minimal difficulty. He has a bounty of 1.1 billion berries on his head and it is certainly an amount that he fully deserves.
Strongest Ability: Fishman Karate
Fishman Karate is, by far, the strongest ability that Jinbe possesses. This ability has strengthened him to the point where he has become one of the strongest Straw Hat Pirates' commanders.
In Wano, he crushed Who's Who with an application of this technique, called Onigawara Seiken. Jinbe is a very experienced commander and fans can expect great things from him in the future of One Piece. He will certainly have to fight stronger enemies and that means making more use of the secret arts of Fishman Karate.
2 Sanji
- Devil Fruit: Sanji does not have access to any Devil Fruit ability. It is highly unlikely that he will gain one in the future, given that most of his development pertains to scientific powers.
- Haki: Sanji has access to two Haki types, both of which have been greatly refined by him. He is a master of Observation Haki, and his Armament Haki is extremely refined as well.
Sanji is the second-strongest Officer of the Straw Hat Pirates and also the cook of the crew. Over the years, he has trained himself to be an incredibly competent fighter. In Wano, he proved his strength by being able to fight both King and Queen while Zoro was recovering, even after taking a heavy beating from Black Maria.
One Piece: 8 Highest Bounties In The Straw Hat Grand Fleet
The Straw Hat Grand Fleet has some impressive members. Here are the individuals in it with the highest bounties.
Later, he on to defeat Queen the Plague, Kaido's second-strongest Commander with rather ease. Sanji has a bounty of 1.032 billion berries and it's an amount that could well have been higher.
Strongest Ability: Ifrit Jambe
Sanji is the second strongest commander of the Straw Hat Pirates and his newfound powers are surely his strongest weapon. Essentially, his latent Germa powers have now awakened, which means all his attacks have been strengthened.
His body is now capable of supporting even hotter flames than ever before and he can now utilize the power of blue flames and electricity in combat using Ifrit Jambe. This power was great enough to knock out Queen, a commander of Kaido worth 1.320 billion berries in just a few kicks. Its true power is likely even superior.
1 Roronoa Zoro
- Devil Fruit: Zoro does not possess any Devil Fruit power and it is highly unlikely that he will gain one in the future of the story.
- Haki: In terms of Haki, Zoro possesses all three, and he specializes in Armament Haki, as mentioned by Oda himself. He can also use Conqueror's Haki, as was seen in Wano and Egghead.
Zoro is the strongest Officer of the Straw Hat Pirates and also the swordsman of the crew. In Wano, he was able to fight against Kaido and even deliver a scar to him, becoming only the second man in history to be able to pull this feat off.
Later, he fought King the Wildfire in an intense fight and emerged victorious. Zoro received a bounty of 1.111 billion berries for it and he certainly proved himself as Luffy's strongest commander.
Strongest Ability: King of Hell Three Sword Style
The strongest Straw Hat commander, Zoro is exceptionally powerful and certainly a pirate worth his bounty. His strongest ability in combat is what he awakened in Wano, called the King of Hell Three Sword Style. This ability is extremely overpowered and sees him make full use of his sword, Enma, and channel both Armament and Conquerors Haki throughout his three sword style.
He was able to cut down King with this ability. Zoro has a lot of techniques in this fighting style that he has not yet utilized and fans can only hope that he does so as the story progresses even further.
