One Piece: 7 Most Destructive Powers In The Series
These One Piece abilities are strong enough to destroy entire cities.
Some of them are going to fail and will never appear in the series again. Others will have their lives forfeited by their enemies. Oda does not kill characters unnecessarily, so every death that happens in the Final Saga of One Piece is going to be significant and will affect the story in one way or another.
UPDATED on September 17, 2024, by Suzail Ahmad: The Egghead arc has finally concluded, and it is safe to say that it is one of the best arcs in the series so far. It had many notable moments, which are bound to live on in the memories of fans.
Aside from the incredible fights, the Egghead arc also featured the deaths of many prominent characters. A lot of these cessations will surely affect the story and some of the other characters in the long run. With that in mind, the list has been updated to include every death in the Final Saga.
10 Dr. Vegapunk
Killed By: Kizaru
Dr. Vegapunk was the focal point of the Egghead arc. The genius scientist lived on Egghead Island and conducted all kinds of experiments for the betterment of the people of the world. Vegapunk always yearned for knowledge, which is why he devoted so much time to obtaining it.
Unfortunately, Vegapunk's curiosity led to his demise. He dabbled in the Void Century, and the Five Elders wasted no time in punishing him when they found out. The Straw Hats did their level best to protect Vegapunk, but the latter was killed by Kizaru.
9 Guernica
Killed By: Kaido
Guernica was a CP-0 agent who was sent to Wano with a few others to keep an eye on the situation in Wano. However, the top-brass ordered him to eliminate Luffy at all costs.
Guernica waited for the right moment, and it came during Luffy's battle with Kaido. Guernica distracted Luffy, allowing Kaido to land a free hit on the young pirate. Luffy was instantly knocked out, and many presumed him dead, but thankfully he survived. Guernica, on the other hand, wasn't so lucky, as Kaido killed him using the Hassaikai.
8 Saint. Jaygarcia Saturn
Killed By: Imu
Saint. Jaygarcia Saturn was the Godhead of Science and Defense. He had personally taken charge of the mission to eliminate Dr. Vegapunk from existence, so he traveled to Egghead Island with Admiral Kizaru and a hundred Navy ships.
Upon arrival, Saint. Jaygarcia Saturn used his Yokai powers to wreak havoc on Egghead Island. But when he was slowly overwhelmed, he decided to call upon the other Five Elders. Despite having so much backup, Saint. Jaygarcia Saturn failed to kill Vegapunk cleanly. The scientist was able to successfully transmit his message across the world, which was a major blow to Imu and the World Government. As a result of his failure, Imu decided to kill Saturn.
7 T-Bone
Killed By: An Unnamed Man
Vice Admiral T-Bone was one of the few Marines who actually cared about the well-being of ordinary people. He was kind and compassionate, which is why he always went out of his way to help those in need. T-Bone also had a soft spot for his underlings. He would tear pieces of his clothes to cover the wounds of his fellow Marines.
T-Bone met his end in the Pepe Kingdom, one of the poorest places in the world, at the hands of a poverty-stricken man. One key thing to remember is that T-Bone was a Vice Admiral, and he could have likely killed the assailant but decided against it because he knew the person needed the money.
6 Donquixote Myosgard
Killed By: St. Figarland Garling
Donquixote Myosgard was a Celestial Dragon and one of the two surviving members of the Donquixote Family. He used to be an arrogant person, but went through a change after seeing Otohime's kindness. During the Reverie, Myosgard sided with the regular people, which resulted in multiple attacks on Charlos, another Celestial Dragon.
Myosgard's actions didn't go down well, and it earned him the wrath of the God Knights. Myosgard was caught and executed by Saint Figarland Garling. His crucifixion was a lesson to any other Celestial Dragons who may want to side with others instead of their own kind.
5 Nefertari Cobra
Killed By: Imu and Five Elders
Nefertari Cobra was the King of Alabasta, making him one of the most famous rulers in One Piece. Cobra was a selfless man who prioritized his subjects over everything else. He was willing to die for the sake of his kingdom, which made him part of a special list of rulers.
One Piece: All Known Members of the Revolutionary Army, Ranked by Strength
Much of the Revolutionary Army's success is due to its powerful members, the strongest of whom rank among the most powerful characters in One Piece.
When he traveled to Marijoa to partake in the Reverie, he had no idea that he would meet his end. Cobra sought an audience with the Five Elders, who accepted. While talking to them, Imu made an appearance that shocked everyone in the room. After seeing Imu, Cobra knew that his fate was sealed. Sabo tried to protect him, but even he couldn't do anything against the power of the Five Elders and Imu.
4 Monkey D. Garp (Possibly)
Killed By: Blackbeard Pirates
Monkey D. Garp is a well-known character in One Piece. He was only a Navy Vice Admiral, but he was the strongest member of the organization. Garp had access to all three types of Haki, and he often used them in combat.
In the Final Saga, Garp went to Hachinosu, the base of operations of the Blackbeard Pirates. He went there with the aim of rescuing his protégé from the pirates. However, things proved to be rather difficult as the Blackbeard Pirates had the support of Kuzan. They used trickery to injure Garp, which paved the way for Kuzan to freeze him. While Garp's death has not been confirmed, it is highly unlikely that he will survive.
3 Eustass Kid (Potential)
Killed By: Shanks
Eustass Kid was the captain of the Kid Pirates and one of the members of the Worst Generation that played a crucial role in Big Mom's defeat in Wano. After liberating Wano, Kid and his crew made their way to Elbaf. It is highly likely that they were trying to find another Road Poneglyph, as it would help them find the One Piece.
Best Anime To Watch If You Love One Piece
Many fans absolutely adore the monumental series that is One Piece but could use some other shows to watch with a similar flair.
However, Eustass Kid's path was blocked by the Red Hair Pirates. As the young pirate drew closer to Elbaf, Shanks wasted no time attacking Kid. The result was that Kid and most of his crew were defeated. To add insult to injury, they even destroyed Kid's ship. Given that Kid is without a ship and is a Devil Fruit user, there is a low chance that he will survive in the sea.
2 Vegapunk's Satellites
Killed By: Seraphim and York
Dr. Vegapunk has been at the center of things in the Egghead arc. The scientist committed a transgression against the World Government, which resulted in the organization taking action. So, the World Government sent several members of CP0 to assassinate him. In addition to the threat of the CP0, the scientist and his satellites have had to deal with the Seraphim and a traitor.
Throughout the arc, there have been multiple attempts on Vegapunk's life. While most of them have failed, a few were actually successful. So far, Vegapunk has lost two of his satellites, namely Shaka and Pythagoras. The sacrifice of these two will hopefully not go to waste and allow the main body to escape.
1 Ginny
Killed By: Sapphire Scale Disease
Ginny is one of the new characters to be introduced in One Piece. She made her debut in Kuma's flashback. Ginny grew up in extremely horrendous conditions but kept surviving in the hope that someday everything would be fine. In a short time, Ginny and Kuma became very close. She wanted to marry him, but the latter did not want her to suffer the same cruel fate as his father and mother.
Ginny eventually became one of the Commanders of the Revolutionary Army, and she was loved by everyone. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse as she was kidnapped by a Celestial Dragon. Ginny was forced to marry the individual; however, she was kicked out after a few years in Marijoa. She had contracted a disease known as the Sapphire Scale, which was considered untreatable at the time. With whatever time she had left, Ginny decided to go back to the Sorbet Kingdom to talk to Kuma and the Revolutionary Army. However, she could not last for long and succumbed to the illness inside the church.
