The One Piece anime is about to enter a tense period in the Egghead arc. With the Navy fleet looming outside the island, the Straw Hat Pirates are in trouble. This time, they have to face the wrath of an Admiral.

The heroes have done an excellent job so far in trying to protect Dr. Vegapunk, but they will have to step up their efforts further as a new threat has emerged. Towards the end of Piece Episode 1125, fans saw Luffy attacking Kizaru. The pirate was eager to show the Admiral how much he had improved.

Kizaru Is A Man On A Mission

After making landfall, Kizaru had to face Sentomaru, who was a close friend. It was unfortunate to see the two fight, especially after the flashback where a young Sentomaru kept calling Kizaru 'uncle.' The Admiral felt bad for fighting his old friend, but he was bound by his duty. Following his victory over Sentomaru, Kizaru clarified that the Navy had four main goals. These were:

Saving York from harm
Securing Punk Records
Finding the machine that creates Mother's Flame
Exterminating Vegapunk

Earlier in the episode, Jaygarcia Saturn spoke about the first three objectives. He even told a Vice Admiral that everyone on the island is expendable, and to treat them like insects.

Kizaru Vs. Luffy Will Be An Enthralling Fight

In order to accomplish the goals, Kizaru first needs to beat Luffy. But the latter will not let the Admiral get the better of him again. Luffy remembers everything that Kizaru did to him and his crew on Sabaody Archipelago, so he will want to put the Admiral through the same.

Luffy is in a serious mood, and it's safe to say that he will not rest until Kizaru is beaten. The question on everyone's mind will be whether Luffy has what it takes to pull off the victory.

Luffy's Strength Has Improved Drastically

Luffy trained hard for two years with Rayleigh in order to get stronger. He learned how to use all kinds of Haki and even came up with Gear 4. With time, Luffy's control over Haki has improved tremendously. He can use Future Sight to foresee incoming attacks and prepare a counter accordingly. Luffy's Armament Haki has been enhanced to the point where he can damage an opponent from within. In the Wano Country arc, he learned to infuse Conqueror's Haki into his attacks, making them much more potent.

Aside from mastering Haki and its types, Luffy has also learned to use his Devil Fruit. In fact, he has awakened it and can pretty much utilize it without any drawbacks. In Wano, he unlocked Gear 5, which gave him more freedom while fighting.

Kizaru Is A Veteran Fighter

Luffy's arsenal is rather impressive, but Kizaru's isn't too bad either. The Admiral possesses the Pika Pika no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit, giving him full control over light. Since all of Kizaru's attacks are powered by the Devil Fruit, each of them packs a devastating punch. Fans have already seen how much damage Kizaru's lasers can do, so getting hit by them is not the best idea. Kizaru can use Armament and Observation Haki, and he likely has the same level of mastery as Luffy. The combination of the two makes Kizaru very dangerous. Given the caliber of fighters, it is safe to say that the battle is going to be magnificent.

There Is Another Fight Brewing On Egghead

There is one more fight that is about to take place. One that involves Zoro and Lucci. The CP0 agent felt rejuvenated after seeing Kizaru beat Sentomaru and take control of the Pacifista. Lucci nearly killed Dr. Vegapunk with a Finger Pistol attack, but Stussy got in the way. Subsequently, Zoro attacked Lucci and took the fight outside, where they could let loose without any problems. Winning is the only option for both individuals, so neither can afford to hold back.
