The latest episode of One Piece was rather emotional as it ended the fight between Admiral Kizaru and Sentomaru. The two have known each other for decades and have a very good relationship, so it was extremely difficult for them to fight one another.

Many people predicted that Kizaru wouldn't be bothered by his past ties with Sentomaru, but they couldn't have been more wrong. The admiral was struggling mentally. The land blows on someone he had watched grow. However, he pushed through and ultimately defeated Sentomaru.

The episode set up two major battles that will take place in the upcoming episodes.

Luffy And Kizaru Face Each Other Again After Years

The first of the fights will be between Monkey D. Luffy and Kizaru. After entering Labophase, the Admiral followed the giant robot carrying the Thousand Sunny, and he came across Luffy and his group. Instead of reminiscing about the crew's defeat to the Admiral, Luffy immediately attacked him. He also told Kizaru that the Straw Hats were a thousand times stronger since their last encounter.

Both Luffy and Kizaru are elite fighters who have accumulated a ton of experience from battling. Both of them need to go all out in the fight, as a lot is riding on their shoulders. For Kizaru, securing the victory means taking a giant leap towards the goal of assassinating Dr. Vegapunk. The Admiral is under strict orders from Jaygarcia Saturn to ensure that Vegapunk doesn't live to see another day. By winning the fight, Kizaru will also be able to make sure that the Marines accomplish all three major objectives, including:

Saving York
Protecting the Punk Records
Securing the machine that produces the Mother Flame

The World Government Has Already Made Its Priorities Clear

The World Government cannot afford to lose York, as she knows how to use the machine that creates the fuel for the mother flame. She is also one of the few people who can utilize Punk Records. Saturn wants to secure Punk Records, as it has all the information collected by Vegapunk over the years. Getting ahold of the machinery that can create Mother's Flame will allow the World Government to use the weapon as many times as it wants.

So Kizaru has to go all out from the very beginning. The Admiral has access to the Pika Pika no Mi, which allows him to manipulate light at will. His attacks are incredibly powerful, and getting hit by them would mean lights out for the opponent. Kizaru can also utilize Armament and Observation Haki to good effect.

But like Luffy said, he is 100 times stronger now. During the last encounter on Sabaody Archipelago, Luffy had no idea what Haki was and how it worked. Neither had he mastered the use of his Devil Fruit. Since then, Luffy has learned to use all three types of Haki. Additionally, he can use their advanced versions. Luffy can also use his Devil Fruit without any limitations.

Rob Lucci And Roronoa Zoro Is Another Big Fight

Lucci regained his confidence after Kizaru defeated Sentomaru. The CP0 agent used the chaos caused by the Admiral to attack Vegapunk. Thankfully, Stussy got in the way and saved the scientist's life. Before Lucci could do any more damage, Zoro stopped him in his tracks.

Zoro and Lucci's fight was not on anyone's bingo card. Nonetheless, fans won't mind seeing two extraordinary fighters having a go at it. Zoro won a decisive fight against King, the right-hand man of Kaido, so he is high on confidence. Lucci, on the other hand, has proven a major thorn in the side of the Straw Hats. He is an elite fighter who can use Rokushiki at the highest level. He also possesses an awakened Zoan-type Devil Fruit, which enhances his strength to a great degree. Given the strength of the two, it is safe to say that the battle will be entertaining.
