One Piece Episode 1065 was unexpectedly good. With Toei producing so many high-quality episodes in such a short period, it would have been understandable if they decided to go easy. However, it seems that the studio is determined to provide a thrilling conclusion to the Wano Country arc. The latest episode had great pacing, which is very rare for the One Piece anime. It started off with Fukurokuju's confrontation with Raizo. The two were trying their best to outdo each other. They represent two different shoguns, and while they are on opposite sides, deep down they respect each other. Chopper was worried about Zoro, as the latter was in bad shape prior to consuming the medicine. Chopper realized that consuming the miracle drug would have severe side effects. His intuition proved correct, as Zoro was hallucinating due to extreme fatigue. He saw the Grim Reaper, who was about to execute him.
Elsewhere, Izo was fighting against the Beasts Pirates. He killed many people but also picked up injuries in the process. Izo continued to fight, only stopping when CP0 agents appeared before him. The agents tried to strike a deal with Izo by telling him to ignore them. However, the former Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates refused.
The main highlight of the episode was the fight between Law, Kid, and Big Mom. The two Supernovas had previously succeeded in damaging the Emperor, which gave them a lot of confidence. However, Big Mom showed her immense power by nearly knocking out both of them. The condition of the two young pirates made their respective crew members worried. Big Mom decided not to pay attention and started to head to the rooftop. Thankfully, Law got up in the nick of time and used his Devil Fruit Awakening to incapacitate her. Then Eustass Kid also landed an attack on her, showing that the battle was not over.
Release Date
One Piece Episode 1066 will be released on June 25th, 2023. The anime will air a recap episode on June 18th, which is why the release date of the actual episode is pushed back. The recap will include all the moments of the fight between Big Mom and the two Supernovas. The episode is titled "The Main Attraction is Coming! Ultimate Attack of Shockwave and Magnetism." It will finally show the conclusion to one of the biggest fights in Onigashima. Eustass Kid and Trafalgar Law have found their feet, and they know that victory is possible if they try hard enough. Law's Devil Fruit Awakening will be key to their chances of winning the duel. His Ope Ope no Mi has proved invaluable time and time again. The only question is whether Law has enough gas in the tank to actually keep fighting.
Eustass Kid will also have to contribute at all costs. For the majority of the battle, he has let Law do all the heavy lifting, but he has to chime in if they want to win against Big Mom. Kid's Devil Fruit does not have the same level of versatility, so he will have to try harder than his fellow Supernova. Kid's gigantic metallic robots can cause hefty damage to the surroundings. So, there is a chance that he might use an improved version to fight Big Mom.
Depending on the outcome of this fight, Wano will either be liberated or will continue to be under tyranny. If Big Mom emerges victorious, she will join Kaido on the rooftop, and they will destroy Luffy together. Law and Kid's triumph will ensure Luffy gets a fair chance to fight Kaido and take him down.
