One Piece anime is quickly moving toward one of its biggest fights in the Wano Country arc. One Piece Episode 1060 was focused on Zoro and his past. The swordsman was in the midst of a grueling battle with King. Zoro had tried his strongest attacks in hopes of damaging his opponent, but they had all failed. To make matters worse, Enma was continuously draining his Haki, which made it impossible for him to stay focused. While he was fighting King, Zoro suddenly remembered how he learned the word "Sunnachi" from an old man in his village.

This started a flashback in which the Straw Hat was still in the Shimotsuki village in East Blue. It was there that Zoro met an eccentric old man who boasted about his greatest-ever creation. Zoro slowly began to piece things together, and eventually, he realized that the old man was none other than the master craftsman, Shimotsuki Kozaburo. He remembered Kozaburo telling him that swords test their users. Zoro immediately understood that Enma was gauging his resolve. The episode ended on a high, with Zoro releasing Haoshoku Hak i and remembering his promise to Luffy and Kuina. The episode also gave screen time to Momonosuke, who found out about his ability to grab Kaido's flame clouds. So, Momonosuke decided to divert the path of Onigashima in order to save the Flower Capital.

Release Date

Sanji Ifrit

One Piece Episode 1061 will be released on May 7, 2023. The episode is titled "The Strike of an Ifrit! Sanji vs. Queen." There has been a great deal of hype surrounding this fight, and in Japan, there have been advertisements promoting the fight. The staff for the episode is immensely talented, so there is no doubt that it will make for a quality watch. The episode is going to focus on Sanji's fight with Queen, the All-Star. For Sanji, this fight is important in more ways than one. Not only does he have to win in order to help the alliance secure a victory, but he also has to beat his inner demons for his own sanity.

Queen caused all of Sanji's horrid memories to resurface, and it confused the hero even further. Ever since Sanji awakened his genetic powers, he has been scared that he might lose his sense of morality and end up like his siblings. However, Sanji has already made up his mind, and he is willing to risk it all to defeat Queen. In the next episode, Sanji will be using his newly awakened powers to create a new fighting style. In this particular style, Sanji's legs seem to be surrounded by blue flames. Fans can expect Sanji's new fighting style to be quicker and stronger than his usual Diable Jambe.

Toward the end of the episode, fans might see the teaser for Zoro and King. Since Zoro has already gained control over Enma, he has to make sure that he ends the fight as quickly as possible. Zoro still lacks mastery over the sword, so it makes sense for him to go all out and defeat King. With these two big fights taking place back-to-back, it is highly unlikely that the anime will bring other characters into focus. Like the Sanji fight, fans can expect Zoro's duel with King to be beautifully animated.
