This article contains spoilers from One Piece's Elbaf Arc.
Summary
- The Elbaf arc may end with a mini timeskip due to time dilation.
- After Elbaf, a war involving the Blackbeard Pirates and Navy will begin.
- The next arc will involve Luffy in a major war at Hachinosu, promising excitement.
The Elbaf arc of One Piece is well underway and fans are eagerly waiting to see its conclusion. As things stand, Luffy and the Straw Hats are about to fight against the threat of Imu and the Holy Knights, along with the demon army that is currently running amok in the Sun Realm.
One Piece: Oda Has Already Confirmed A Second Timeskip After Elbaf
Oda is planning a major new time skip after One Piece's Elbaf arc.
At the same time, the arc is going to focus on the Loki flashback before the battles officially begin and Oda might even take the fans away from Elbaf to show the developments around the world for a while. But, sooner or later, the Elbaf arc will wrap up, and when that happens, One Piece's biggest and most consequential arc will finally begin. What's crazy is that few realize that Oda has already set it up in One Piece.
Why Elbaf Will End With A Mini Timeskip
- The Sense Of Time Is Dulled in Elbaf
- Louis Arnote Confirmed It
The Elbaf arc isn't anywhere close to ending right now. In fact, the arc probably hasn't even reached its midpoint yet. But, that matters little. Fans know that the flashback will conclude within the next 10 or so chapters, and as that happens, the final battles in the Elbaf arc will finally begin. With that, One Piece fans will see the fate of the country being decided, which will, more likely than not, be settled by Luffy for good. But, even beating Imu won't solve the biggest issue here in the Warland.
Don't overstay your welcome in Elbaf! — Louis Arnote
The fact is that Luffy and the Straw Hats will have lost time on Elbaf, despite not being there for all that long. It has already been hinted at by Louis Arnote that time has different properties in Elbaf. While it moves similarly to the time outside Elbaf, the sense of it is dulled completely. In other words, people might only feel ⅓rd of the time passing.
When Elbaf ends, Luffy will realize that time outside the world has moved ahead by weeks, if not months. This means the events in the outside world will have changed the course of history already, and major battles could've started too.
Elbaf Will Be Followed By A War Between The Navy, The Blackbeard Pirates, And The Cross Guild
The Blackbeard Pirates Are At The Center Of Attention
Once Elbaf ends, Oda will turn his attention to two things in particular. The first is the Blackbeard Pirates. Fans know they're plotting something big against the World Government, but more than that, they will also engage in talks with the Government over Garp. Blackbeard wants a country of his own, and when he is refused, he'll likely set up a public execution for Garp.
One Piece: Oda Just Revealed The Mightiest Pirate Crew In The World, And It's Not The Rocks Pirates
The Rocks pirates are strong, but this one pirate crew was even stronger in One Piece.
The Navy will, obviously, oppose this and a war will finally begin. Meanwhile, the chances of the Cross Guild, who are hunting Marines, joining this battle, simply because they have something in common with the Blackbeard Pirates, are very high.
The Great War Will Finally Begin
Luffy and the crew need to head to Hachinosu after the Elbaf arc and there, the biggest war will begin. At the same time, the Revolutionary Army will start their offensive against the Holy Knights, and fans know that whatever is coming next is going to be incredibly exciting.
