Devil Fruits are the core of One Piece's power system, and the vast majority of the strong characters that exist in this world wield this power on the high seas. Over the years, fans have been introduced to quite a lot of powerful Devil Fruits of all kinds, ranging from Paramecia, to Zoan, and Logia. However, among the Devil Fruits that exist in the One Piece world, some are clearly superior to others, and some others are so strong that they completely break the powerscaling of the series from top to bottom.
Now that One Piece is in the Final Saga, the appearance of incredibly broken Devil Fruits has become much more frequent. It is clear that these powers are so immense that they simply cannot be gauged.

6 Imu's Devil Fruit
- Type: Mythical Zoan (Implied)
One of the deadliest Devil Fruits that fans have seen in One Piece belongs to none other than the sovereign of the world, Imu. The name of Imu's Devil Fruit remains unclear right now, but its nature, which allows them to transform into some sort of monstrous creature, clearly suggests that it is a mythical Zoan ability.
Imu's Devil Fruit is incredibly dangerous, as not only does it grant them tremendous physical powers, but it also gives them demonic abilities. Imu sprouts wings and a pointy tail when utilizing this power, and more than that, they can summon a grimoire, using which they can cast many spells. Some of these spells are so strong that they can essentially turn anyone else into their immortal demonic slave, and others allow them to enter Covenants, granting them powers such as regeneration and immortality. With their magical powers, Imu was able to completely take over Elbaf in the blink of an eye, and this power goes beyond all scaling in One Piece.
5 Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika
- Type: Mythical Zoan
The Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika is a Mythical Zoan-type of Devil Fruit consumed by Luffy at the very beginning of the series. The true nature of this Devil Fruit was hidden until the Wano Country Arc, but here, it was revealed that this Devil Fruit is what grants the immense powers of Sun God Nika and turns one into the warrior of liberation.
For centuries, it evaded the hands of the World Government and eventually fell into Luffy's hands, who consumed it and awakened it in Wano. Luffy's Devil Fruit essentially breaks the very power system because his abilities are not bound by any logic. Anything that Luffy can imagine can be turned into a reality, as seen during his fights against the likes of Kaido, and later down the line, Kizaru and the Five Elders. What's more, Luffy's Devil Fruit powers can still grow even further, and as such, fans should expect him to do even more impossible things.
4 Soru Soru no Mi
- Type: Paramecia
The Soru Soru no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that belongs to the former Yonko, Big Mom. This Devil Fruit allows Big Mom dominion over all souls that exist in the world of One Piece. Big Mom can freely manipulate her soul as well as those of others around her. She can give souls to both animate and inanimate objects and create loyal followers, the homies.
More than that, Big Mom can essentially kill anyone who fears her, even in the slightest. In this way, this Devil Fruit ability becomes a hax that breaks traditional powerscaling completely. If there is a character that fears Big Mom for even a slight second, she can essentially one-shot them immediately by ripping out their soul. What's more, this would then buff her up even further, because this strong soul can then be infused into something else to create a very powerful homie.
3 Gura Gura no Mi

When it comes to paramecia-type Devil Fruits, the one that stands at the very top is the Gura Gura no Mi. This Devil Fruit allows one to produce quakes at will, be it from land, sea, or air. These quakes can even be infused into weapons and used to launch deadly strikes on enemies.

The power of the Gura Gura no Mi is such that it is said to be able to destroy the entire world of One Piece. In that case, this power truly cannot be scaled, as its potency is comparable to an ancient weapon itself.

2 Loki's Nidhogg Devil Fruit
- Type: Mythical Zoan
In the Final Saga of One Piece, Oda introduced what can be said to be arguably the strongest Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit when he brought Loki into the story. 14 years ago, Loki ate the National Treasure of Elbaf, and this Devil Fruit allows him to transform into a massive black dragon called the Nidhogg. This Devil Fruit gives Loki the powers of lightning manipulation as well, and his sheer size is such that he can essentially destroy countries with ease.
3 Yonko Level Female Characters In One Piece
One Piece has a lot of powerful female characters, but only a handful of them are Yonko level.
It isn't a surprise that the people of Elbaf claim that Loki can destroy the entire country and bring about the destruction of the entire planet. Undoubtedly, Loki's Devil Fruit has completely broken the powerscaling in One Piece, given that he is even above the likes of Rocks and Harald in terms of overall power.
1 Yami Yami no Mi

Among the Devil Fruits, the one that stands at the very top is the Logia-type Yami Yami no Mi. It is said that this is the darkest devil fruit of all, and the one who utilizes its power is none other than Blackbeard. The Yami Yami no Mi doesn't function like a traditional Logia fruit. It doesn't give Blackbeard the power of intangibility or the ability to turn into darkness itself. However, in exchange, Blackbeard gains the ability to nullify the powers of all other Devil Fruit users. What's more, this fruit can nullify the power of the devil as well, which means even Imu, the potential strongest character in the entire world, is not safe from its powers either. By nullifying all other Devil Fruit powers, this ability completely breaks the power system of the One Piece world, and it truly cannot be scaled because of that.
Its true potential has not been showcased yet because Blackbeard has not been involved in many battles in One Piece. What's more, over the years, Blackbeard could even have gone on to awaken this Devil Fruit power. If that truly were to be the case, then he wouldn't even need physical contact with others to nullify the Devil Fruit powers. Anyone in Blackbeard's vicinity would be unable to use their Devil Fruit abilities, which means that even the likes of Nika or Loki, or someone like Imu, would be helpless against its powers. Blackbeard is truly building himself up to be the strongest in the One Piece world, and the Final Saga will show his true worth to the fans soon enough.
