This One Piece Theory is Best Kept as a Joke
Crocodile's Motherhood Arc is Over
Of course, this theory has plenty of holes that make it so improbable in the tumultuous world of One Piece. During Marineford, it seems to be common knowledge that Luffy is Dragon's son. Despite this, Crocodile doesn't react very strongly, viewing him more as an annoying pest that's simply useful for the moment. However, Crocodile does start assisting Luffy more at this point, saving his life multiple times in the war, though it's more likely that Crocodile did these things due to his hate of both Whitebeard and the World Government.
I know one of his weaknesses. But if he cooperates with us, then I won't say anything about it. - Ivankov about Crocodile
In the end, it seems more likely that Oda won't reveal that Crocodile is Luffy's mother in the final saga of One Piece. With no direct evidence, a theory like this is best kept as a One Piece thought exercise rather than serious speculation. Despite this, it's still fun for the community to theorize, creating the wackiest, but congruent, speculations possible.
