Vista used to be the Fifth Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. Like most members of the crew, Vista was fiercely loyal to Whitebeard, and he was willing to go to great lengths to serve his captain. Over the years, he had become one of Whitebeard's most dependable underlings. Vista fights using two swords, and his skills have earned him a lot of renown.
Vista can use both Armament and Observation Haki. One might think that Vista is a pushover, but it is important to remember that he faced Mihawk and didn't sustain any injuries. Not only that, but Dracule Mihawk acknowledged Vista as one of the finest swordsmen in the world. Since Vista traveled with the Whitebeard Pirates for decades, it is plausible to assume that he faced many noteworthy opponents. At the beginning of the series, Vista would have pummeled Zoro, but now the latter has surpassed him.
4 Eustass Kid

Eustass Kid is the captain of the Kid Pirates. He debuted in the Sabaody arc, along with several other Supernovas. He became a fan favorite the moment fans laid their eyes on him. Fans appreciated Kid's style and his unique personality. In addition to his moxie, Kid has access to a powerful Devil Fruit and three Haki types.
Kid's Jiki Jiki no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that grants him dominion over the magnetic forces of attraction and repulsion. Having fought so many characters, it's hardly surprising that Eustass Kid awakened his Devil Fruit. In the Wano Country arc, Kid was stronger than Zoro, but the latter has the opportunity to overtake him after Elbaf.
3 Trafalgar Law

Trafalgar Law is one of the best side characters in One Piece. Since his childhood days, Law has had to face life-threatening situations, but he survived all of them, thanks to his close friends. He is one of the few non-Straw Hats to appear in multiple arcs, and it helped him win over the audience.
Trafalgar Law ate the Ope Ope no Mi, which has been called the Ultimate Devil Fruit. It grants him various abilities, such as creating ROOMs, damaging the internal organs of an individual, and taking out a person's heart without killing them. Trafalgar Law was ahead of Zoro in Wano, but that might change soon, especially if the Straw Hat ends up mastering the use of Conqueror's Haki in Elbaf.
2 Yamato

Aside from her Devil Fruit, Yamato can also use three types of Haki. She specializes in Armament and Conqueror's Haki. Yamato often combines the two to bolster the power of her attacks and deal more damage. Surpassing her will be a challenge for Zoro, but he will be able to pull it off as long as he masters Conqueror's Haki.
1 Sabo

Sabo is the right-hand man of Monkey D. Dragon. He joined the organization after Dragon rescued him from certain death. Shortly after joining the group.
