Characters such as the Five Elders, the Holy Knights, and even Imu have been shown to possess Immortality. Only a few characters can cancel out this power, and the best way to do that is by using Haki. Fans know Haki is essential in the One Piece world, but it being the only way to counter immortal beings goes to show its true worth. So far, only characters like Gaban have shown the power to counter it.

Shanks

The Red-Haired Yonko

When it comes to Haki in One Piece, no one truly has it down to the level of Red-Haired Shanks, the only Yonko without Devil Fruit powers. Knowing how incredible Shanks is at Haki, it would be a fair assumption to think he can bypass immortality with his skills.

He will surely showcase this very ability eventually in One Piece, especially as his involvement grows.

Gaban

Scopper Gaban was a shocking addition to the Elbaf arc that many fans didn’t see coming. This man is a legend and was a part of the Roger Pirates as one of their strongest members.

In One Piece, Gaban is the only character who has shown the ability to bypass immortality, as seen when he took down Sommers in one hit. This was, undeniably, quite an incredible feat.

Rayleigh

Rayleigh is another essential member of the legendary Pirate King’s crew. As one of Roger’s Pirate King wings and Gaban’s equal, it goes without saying that Rayleigh not being able to bypass immortality like Gaban is out of the question, even though fans have never seen him achieve this feat yet in the story.

The Pirate King himself, Gol D. Roger was quite a great Haki user. After all, he and everyone else on his crew did not have Devil Fruits and instead relied on Haki.

Just like Rayleigh, seeing that Gaban can bypass the immortality given by Imu, it’s obvious that Roger could do just the same in One Piece.

Loki is currently deeply involved with Luffy in the events of Elbaf. There’s still a lot that fans don’t know about him, but one thing is for sure: he is strong. Loki has a legendary Devil Fruit and surely incredible Haki.

He has previously claimed that he can bypass immortality, a statement readers have no reason to doubt. Loki is, undoubtedly, strong and can fight Holy Knights and even defeat them, given that it took Shanks to defeat him.

Whitebeard

Whitebeard is a legend in the One Piece world. He was indeed the world’s strongest man, and the reason why is quite obvious. Whitebeard had the power to destroy the world with his Devil Fruit.

But even Devil Fruit aside, Whitebeard is powerful. He was Roger’s equal, and there’s no reason for fans to doubt he can’t take on a Holy Knight or Five Elders and beat them with his strong Haki.

Garp

Garp is the most legendary marine there is and the only one confirmed to be a Conqueror’s Haki user along with Sengoku. Garp was Roger’s biggest rival and in terms of strength, he is entirely reliant on Haki.

His Haki is definitely strong and advanced enough to cancel out the power of immortality, even though fans have yet to see that.

Harald

Harald has been quite the peculiar character in One Piece. Fans have been uncovering more about his circumstances through the Elbaf flashback. This has also been great to assess his power.

Harald clashed with the likes of Rocks and was his equal. In that sense, Harald should also be able to cancel immortality with his Haki in One Piece.
