One Piece's Elbaf arc continues at a blistering pace. The biggest flashback of the entire story has been wrapped up recently, and over the course of the last three chapters, the story has been slowly building up to the main conflict of the arc. It is only a matter of time before this exciting conflict explodes and the intensity rises through the roof in this arc.
One Piece Chapter 1174 saw the return of Luffy and Loki to the front lines but before the main battles of the arc begin, the series will have to go on a break. As such, One Piece Chapter 1175 has officially received a new release date, which fans are eagerly looking forward to already.
One Piece Chapter 1175 Has Been Delayed Due To Oda's Break
New Break Comes After A Run Of Three Chapters
One Piece chapter 1175 has officially been delayed due to a break from the author, Eiichiro Oda. This break was officially announced in the recent issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, which dropped on February 15, 2026. This break should not come as a surprise to any fan of the series. Often, Oda drops three chapters in a row and then heads off on a break. This break is utilized by the author to plan things moving forward and to rest, most importantly.
Oda has been drawing manga for over 28 years now, and as such, isn't in the best of health. Mangaka often only get up to three hours of sleep a day and their working hours are incredibly exhausting. As such, Oda taking more frequent breaks the more he ages and the worse his health gets, only makes sense. If anything, Oda should be taking breaks more often, but to deliver an exciting story to the fans, he keeps the breaks to as few as possible. Currently, One Piece's publication schedule stands at three chapters, followed by a break, which means every month, fans get at least three One Piece chapters.
One Piece Chapter 1175 Will Come Out On March 1, 2026
One Piece completed its run of three chapters with Chapter 1174, which means that there will be a two-week wait before One Piece Chapter 1175 officially drops. The next issue of Weekly Shonen Jump will not carry a One Piece chapter and the manga will make its official return on March 1, 2026. This also means there will be no more One Piece in the month of February and Chapter 1175, which will most certainly start the battle between the duo of Luffy and Loki against Imu, is going to drop at the beginning of the new month.
From there onwards, One Piece is most certainly going to go on another three-chapter run. In other words, One Piece chapters 1175, 1176, and 1177 should be enjoyed by the fans uninterrupted unless something out of the ordinary happens. Oda has made it a habit to draw three chapters in a row, at the very least, but sometimes, when his health isn't as good, Oda can take a break after two chapters.
Luffy And Loki Vs Imu Will Finally Begin
With One Piece Chapter 1175 making a grand return on March 1, 2026, the biggest battle in the entire series will finally begin. The Elbaf Arc saw the introduction of the biggest enemy in the entire series in the form of Imu, the Sovereign of the World. It was almost unbelievable to see an enemy of such power being introduced in Elbaf, and now, Luffy and Loki must put a stop to them. This arc is going to be chaotic from here onwards, and fans will get to witness some of the best battles, with intensity the likes of which has never been seen before in One Piece.
A giant beast will cover the sky…and the Sun God shall appear! — Elders Jarul
Oda has already promised to end things with a big boom in the Elbaf arc, and One Piece is heading even deeper into its ending phase following the conclusion of this arc. In that sense, the upcoming chapter is going to be especially important, given that it marks the beginning of the end for this arc. One Piece fans are eagerly anticipating the return of the manga as Elbaf awaits its dawn. Undoubtedly, things are only going to get that much more exciting in this already brilliant story arc moving forward.
